The most memorable parts were: felting, listening to the storyteller by the fireplace, visiting Glen Affric and the waterfalls, delicious food. It was an unforgettable week of active relaxation!

We saw so much of Scotland both on trains and on foot. The scenery is spectacular and the walking is demanding enough to be satisfactory but not too exhausting.

Most memorable was learning to self-arrest with an ice-axe - sliding head first and face down on an icy slope!

The setting of the cottage itself and views from the hot tub were most memorable. We were in Rose, the smaller cottage, and the views were beautiful...The whole family, including boys of 10 and 5, loved it. Being on a croft with the animals made it extra special.

Everything about this trip was great, but memories of the magnificent mountain scenery I'm sure will stay with me forever.

The highlight was seeing scotland for the first time, learning new skills, enjoying the company. The satisfaction of getting to the top of 2 munros.

The accommodations ranged from excellent with charm and lovely people to absolutely fine... But the best of the best was our guide, Ian, absolutely top notch. He concocted for us some great mini adventures. Perfect.

Everything that can be recycled or reused is, but yet at the same time this doesn’t effect the quality of the service offered and I feel this certainly adds to the whole experience and ambience of the lodge.

Wouldn't have wanted anything different! Despite patchy weather which meant that Munro-baggers didn't get all the opportunities they would have liked, the location, the island hopping activities and above all the superb wildlife more than made up for it.

A totally chill-out experience - a comfortable, luxurious cabin in a well laid out garden - definitely stands out as a special place to stay. Located in lovely countryside with several options for walking locally.

The most memorable parts were the glorious autumn sun on the turning leaves. Not New England, but very beautiful. And ambling along the white sandy beaches and having them to myself, more or less!

The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.

Most memorable? Discovering new sites, talking with local people and having a wonderful meal for my birthday at the hotel!
