Scotland wildlife and marine conservation holiday
Seeing the Dolphins (after days of fruitless searching) has to be a biggie...But being at Newbold House was for me probably the best bit of all - superb food, wonderful company and a remarkable place. (more)Alison Nichol-Smith
The most memorable part was going out with a research vessel from Lossiemouth (Scotland) and watching how the sonars for dolphin research were replaced. This provided an insight into "real" conservation work. (more)Maya Ueberle

Family holidays in Scotland, nature activity & wildlife watching
A very enjoyable holiday particularly for the children who have not stopped talking about it yet... Taking part in the bushcraft activity and watching our grandchildren as they tried wild foods and made fire. The enthusiasm with which they approached every new challenge and the knowledge that they gained is priceless. (more)Frank White
I loved it! It helped the environment and taught you a lot about the area and animals around you. We were kept entertained and had a really fun time - I will always remember this holiday. (more)Saskia Robinson
From £525 - £675 excluding flights
Scotland, dolphin and wildlife watching trips
Memorable parts? Seeing dolphins in the wild 50 meters in front of you. Even if it was raining and very windy! Tips? Pack a rain coat just in case you get the weather I had. Take a camera, but don't expect a guaranteed perfect dolphin photo, they move very fast in the water and it is hard to focus. Local benefits? Yes, our guide took great care in making sure the impact on the dolphins was minimal, and the dolphin watching boat we went on was of local origin. Overall... (more)Rosemary Henderson

Wildlife sailing holiday in Scotland
What can one say about this holiday it has to be one of the best holidays I have ever been on with two of the best hosts you could ever wish to meet in Michael and Colette who make your trip so wonderful and informative and the fellow passengers John, Julie, Peter and Mike who it was a pleasure to sail with. (more)Gordon Garrett
The magic of this holiday can be summed up by our first morning afloat. Having learnt how to lay an anchor the night before, we woke to the gently lapping waters of a secluded loch...A wonderful holiday. (more)Sophie Hood
The most memorable part would have to be watching what must have been over 100 gannets dive bombing again and again like WW2 fighter pilots circling round for yet another attack...Michael and Colette are superb hosts - interesting, kind, great company. (more)Sue Fletcher
From £619 excluding flights
Adventure cruise in Scotland, lochs and canals
Memorable parts? The amazing scenery both in sunshine and rain. And our hosts, Colette and Michael. Tips? Do as Michael and Colette suggest - pack light and bring wet weather gear ie rain jackets and boots. Local benefits? Yes. Overall rating? Absolutely fantastic for ALL ages, young and old. Colette is a brilliant cook and the meal she made out of freshly caught Mackerel fish has set a very high bench mark to beat. Michael knows so much and is a very patient teacher.... (more)Lani Retter

Whale watching cruises, Isle of Mull, Scotland
Memorable parts? The most memorable part of the holiday was the surveys trip ... seeing Minke whales and basking sharks on such a beautiful day - I will remember this for many years to come. We even moored on a tiny island close to Coll and Tiree - it was like being on a Pacific atoll ... seals swimming, white sand, clear blue sea - just perfect. However, everything was great - the Drover's Lodge B&B, the warm welcome from the locals, the weather, the food, the Discover Mull "wildlife safari",... (more)John Eversfield

Scottish Highlands nature and wellbeing retreat
Memorable parts? The most memorable part of the holiday was during dolphin-watching, when a baby dolphin with it’s' mother, dived in and out of the water, around both sides of our boat. They swam very close to us. Sarah, who steered the boat, knew the sea area near Cromarty and the Black Isle extremely well. She gave us an informative and exhilarating boat journey. Tips? This is a bespoke holiday so discuss with Deborah, the marine biologist, exactly what you would like to experience.... (more)Manjinder Jagdev
