All the sea kayaking around the stunning coast and getting close up to seals and sea birds which was only possible from being in kayaks and having top coaching from our guide who made us feel at ease in all conditions. Thai people are friendly, happy and just genuinely playful. The ocean was warm, the jellyfish were incredible and the paddling was the best we've ever encountered. "Limestone cliffs familiar from James Bond movies rise vertically out of turquoise waters in Phang Nga Bay, 30 minutes in a long tail boat from Phuket in Thailand. Judging the tides with the help of legendary Hawaiian kayak guide John Gray and local guide Pong a former fisherman from the local village who John recruited and trained we paddle towards the caves at the cliff base. Following John we paddle slowly into one of the caves, which quickly darken. Giant stalactites hang from the roof, and Pong picks out a colony of bats with a flashlight. The roof of the cave lowers, and we lie flat on our backs on the kayaks gently holding the rocks and pulling ourselves through until we emerge blinking into a spectacular Hong."

"My holiday was in the Outer Hebrides a wonderful, awe inspiring and educational 7 days. The scenery was magnificent but one the most memorable experience for me was sharing it with five others that were just as impressed with both the location and history of the area as I was. We had an excellent guide in Cailhean Macleod his knowledge and personal experience added to the holiday experience. His passion for the Outer Hebrides was infectious; he knew the area so well that if tides or wind were against us there was always an alternative location that he could take us to. The white sand beaches, the rugged wind swept hills and views from the top as we climbed to the 680m summits, the standing stones of Callanish (2900BC)."
