Sicily walking holiday
The trip was well thought out, with a variety of walks and other activities all of which were interesting. The Guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. (more)sheila Knight
Being on stomboli while the volcano rumbled and spat - being so close to lava fountains was the most memorable part. (more)Fiona Paterson
Walks interesting, varied and demanding enough without imposing too much strain for those who like walking/scrambling holidays. (more)Sydney Fremantle

Sicily history tour, Italy
Memorable parts? It was an overview of Sicily which we thought was well paced. Very good guide, (Salvo) enthusiastic about his country and very knowledgeable. Tips? Be prepared for a busy schedule, but one that is perfectly manageable. Local benefits? The guide was conservation minded. I am not sure how you could have involved local people more. Sicily walking holiday, Sicilian Volcanoes
Memorable parts? The optional trip on Etna was very interesting, even though we couldn't get to the top - trip notes need to be updated. Stromboli would have been great if it hadn't been cloudy! Tips? Be prepared for a lot of boat travel around the islands. Local benefits? Local people benefitted - restaurants & tour companies. Overall rating? Good! (more)Hazel Geatches
From £1169 - £1299 including UK flights
Sicily tour, classical Sicily
Very busy, as expected, but very enjoyable (more)Simon Phillips
Good - enjoyed it.... For me the ascent of Etna was one of the highlights. (more)Laurence Cale
Visiting outstanding classical sights such as the quarry in Syracuse where 7000 athenians were enslaved was the most memorable part of the holiday (more)Adam Patchett

Letojanni B&B, family run B&B in Sicily
Memorable parts? Travelling up Etna for the Sunset tour- beautiful Tips? Public transport is very cheap + reliable. The markets are bursting with fresh cheap + seasonal produce but eating out is also very reasonable. Local benefits? Yes to all. Overall rating? Apart from the weather which was very variable- normal for mid April- very good. Sicily is much poorer than expected but the people are friendly and we had a good time (more)Elizabeth Clowes
