Being on stomboli while the volcano rumbled and spat - being so close to lava fountains was the most memorable part.
(more)The rooms are quite lovely, only surpassed by the views of the sea and the Madonie Mountains. I also had the pleasure of visiting a shepherd making cheese on a hillside and of visiting the local Santa Anastasia Winery, where they give an outstanding tour. day trip we had time to tour Lipari Island on the bus, very interesting and
