We were a small and delightful group. The boat was cozy and comfortable, the landscapes and cloudscapes, sublime; and the day trips and hikes, especially our visit to Iona and its sacred and ancient abbey were vitamin C for the spirit. (more)Patricia Knowles

Memorable parts? Traveling without a car made us travel with less, slow down, and engage more with people around us. So we had a wonderful time meeting people from Scotland and all over, which was great. Tips? Recognize that you'll spend a bit more time getting between places than you otherwise might, so let go of the rush to "get there". And pack light. Local benefits? Memorable parts? Walking the fabulous Quirang loop trail. Tips? Leave enough time for driving the single track roads on beautiful Skye. Getting around takes longer than you'd think from the map. Local benefits? The b and b owners are careful with resources. Overall rating?
