Pretty good: if the area were more interesting we'd certainly go back to that cottage, as it was very good for 2 adults and 2 room-dwelling teenagers. But a week was enough for that part of Donegal. (more)
Perfect - the best week's holiday we've ever had. The accommodation was very comfortable, the surroundings were idyllic, and the views breathtaking. Also very baby friendly - my daughter loved the swings and all the toys provided... The sheer beauty and peace of the landscape and the farm were most memorable... Simply sitting back, enjoying the peace and tranquillity was the most memorable...We genuinely think we had very little impact on the environment. We spent money in local shops - although the nearby Waitrose was a temptation! Very enjoyable... We really enjoyed a trip to a lake called 'Hintersee' nearby as it wasn't very touristy. Try to take the path less trodden. (more)
We loved being surrounded by historic French villages; staying in a beautiful rustic (but VERY comfortable) 19th century stone cottage; the warmth and approachability of our hosts Nicole and Alex Crawford; and being spoilt for choice when arranging our daily activities.
