Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon holiday
Excellent, great bunch of fellow travellers (tour was full at 13). Our tour guide, Dan, was great and made the holiday work really. He was always available to us and coped well with our different needs/wants and the unpredictable weather. (more)Wendy Pountain
The most memorable parts were my first view of Bryce Canyon; trekking down to Cedar Ridge in the Grand Canyon. (more)DC Gibson
Hiking through Bryce Canyon with snow capping the rocks. One group member said as we hiked down amongst the structures "We need to invent new superlatives". It was stunning...Fantastic, recommended. Great tour guide from this tour operator. (more)Melanie Atkins

Laos small group holiday
Memorable parts? The boat trip down the Mekong. So relaxing. Tips? Keep luggage to a minimum. Laundry facilities are widely available and you'll have more room in your case for purchases. Local benefits? Yes. Local village people, prosthetics provision and literacy help having a direct effect on Laos citizens. Overall rating? Very interesting and well paced. (more)Chris Williams

Learn Spanish and walk the Camino de Santiago, Spain
Just to say how much I enjoyed this trip. Amazing how much you can learn in 15hours beginners course. Caring, responsible and responsive team of teachers and walking guides. Good...The walks and the Spanish learning were the best parts. (more)Elizabeth Weightman
Excellent opportunity to learn Spanish while having very enjoyable holiday. Would thoroughly recommend it. (more)Barbara Ainger

Excellent holiday. Active, without being extreme with a nice balance of travel and visits so we never spent more than 2 hours driving. Excellent guide in Robi who had the right mix of passion and knowledge for Croatia and was happy to share. (more)Andrew Stoter

Spanish course & walking holiday, Picos de Europa, Spain
Our mornings at the school with Ana and Inigo seemed to fly by. It is very well organised and the facilities are first class. My Spanish has improved noticeably. Tatra Mountains family holiday in Slovakia
Memorable parts? Climbing up the Tatra Mountains to be within sight of the Polish border. Tips? Take a good phrase book for Slovakia or brush up your German on food and drink because many of the local restaurants have no one who speaks English and the Menu is not translated into English, so without this your choice of restaurant is very limited, which means you miss out on some real gems of local village life. Local benefits? Yes, but there was scope for more. The hotel we... (more)Rosemary Milton

Visiting one of the most unique places left on earth, and seeing how protective tours and the park authorities are keeping it that way, were most memorable. Amazing and excellent - truly a trip of a lifetime, and one of the few times one can genuinely use the word 'awesome'. (more)Ayesha Kyari

South East Asia tour, Hanoi to Singapore
Snorkelling for the first time in Nha Trang (and second time in Ko Phi Phi!) was fantastic, jungle trekking in both Thailand and Malaysia was awesome...Outstanding - varied, educational and stacks of fun. (more)Matt Williams
There were so many highlights to this holiday which covered so many countries... Staying the night in a hilltribe village in northern Thailand, snorkling on the coral reefs around Ko Phi Phi, 4x4 driving, drinking tea in a tea plantation in the Cameron highlands...exploring great cities like KL and Singapore. Fantastic, but tough going at times! (more)Bridie Brittain

Mexico, Belize and Guatemala holiday
Memorable parts? The morning spent at Tikal in Guatemala was excellent. This activity is definitely best done in the early morning light as it gets very warm and less pleasant to walk in the jungle after 10am. Tips? This is quite a short tour for the distance covered. I would suggest looking at tours staying at least 2 nights in most places in order to really get a sense of the country and culture Local benefits? Somewhat. The use of local transport in some instances certainly... (more)Diana Urbina

Kerala small group tour, India
Memorable parts? I can't decide between threshing rice, morning yoga class in Munnar, getting lost in the backwaters of Alleppey, or watching a movie in Malayalam and loving it even though I hardly understood a word. Tips? Don't worry - you have made the right decision. Local benefits? Yes - our guide steered us toward activities which benefited local people and increased our understanding of the culture and environmental issues. Overall rating? This ten-day Kerala... Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro tour
Memorable parts? There were a number of great parts to the holiday and it is impossible to single out one simply due to the diversity of the experiences we had. The whole holiday was amazing, but if I had to name the top three things I would say (in no particular order!) going to Iguazu Falls (especially the boat ride under the falls!), the boat trip we went on in Paraty and just being in Rio. Tips? If you want to see Buenos Aries or Rio (and I suggest they're worth seeing!!) then... (more)Carol Clutton

Biking holiday in Kenya & Tanzania
I would go again without hesitation. A perfectly organized tour with enough space for individual changes. Well done! (more)Roman Holderbach

Family holiday to Jordan, Journey to the Lost City
At the risk of sounding over the top with enthusiasm I would answer "All of it" to this question. We went to Jordan and returned renewed, stimulated and educated and with a new understanding of the culture, history and politics of the Middle East. This was in in no small way due to the effort and enthusiasm of our guide, Usama Awad. Are all of this companies guides as brilliant as he was? (more)Fiona O
It was a very inspirational holiday...Staying at Dana guesthouse supported a very important nature biosphere. (more)sharyn hall

Kayaking holiday in Montenegro, Lake Skadar
The kayaking was amazing, the lake is so quiet and often ( nearly always) you are the only people out there! The scenery is stunning, it's quite amazing. (more)Kay Audoire
The whole trip was amazing, stunning scenery and lovely villa. We loved the hikes, out in the countryside seeing the local landscapes and the amazing insects.... Ben and Emma have immersed themselves in the local community, employing local people and the lunch at Tanya's (a local villager, where we stopped off on a hike) was amazing. (more)Liz Cush
Swimming in mountain pools and lakes, from the breathtakingly cold to the sublimely warm. Kayaking across an almost deserted lake and feeling special and privileged to be able to share in such a spectacular landscape...This has been an incredible holiday, we didn't stop saying how wonderful it was all the time we were there. (more)Jane Barnes

Luxury fitness & detox retreat in Spain for women
Brilliant! It’s exactly what a lot of women need during stressful times and it’s a fantastic environment to make friends and support other people. There were lots of memorable aspects but the two things that stand out were the varied mixture of activities in the programme, and the cohesion of the group and tutors alike. (more)Jita Shah
The food was absolutely delicious and we were never hungry which was quite a surprise for a detox holiday. The exercise program was just perfect and you could do as much or as you felt able to. The treatments in the SPA were excellent. All around it was a fantastic holiday. (more)Sari Winckworth

Halloween tour in Transylvania
Memorable parts? We felt that the whole Transylvanian experience was memorable, especially seeing the Castles and also the Halloween party was amazing. I have never experienced a Halloween quite like it ever before, just wished more people had dressed up . Tips? Memorable parts? Travelling to new countries others have not heard of or still think are in a war zone. Unspoilt, beautiful countryside and towns with people who have not caught up with the greed of tourism. Tips? Memorable parts? Roatan, one of the bay Islands of Honduras, was beautiful and the diving was fantastic, and I'll probably never forget the chicken buses! Tips? If you're used to travelling independently then be prepared to find the lack of freedom quite restricting, however it is great not to have to worry about transport and accommodation! Local benefits? I feel that it benefitted local people as wherever possible we patronised local businesses and shops, and as far as is... (more)Victoria Baynes
