The best part for me was the final day's walk where we finished with a paddle in the sea at Turtle Beach. I was impressed by the fact that all the walks were so varied - never the same type of scenery and all of it so beautiful!
(more)It was the most comfortable camping I have ever experienced. The tents were bigger than our bedroom, the food was incredible and the hot, private in-tent camp shower so refreshing. But we were truly out in the wild and could hear baboons near our camp and find elephant dung behind the tents. (more)Superb. Special thanks to our guide Junaid. Another magical site would be on the first dawn game drive we did and managed to see a pride of lions basking in the morning light, a cheetah prowling the plains and then the elusive leopard lazing halfway up a tree! The operator’s selection of hotels was very good, especially the luxurious Hilton Hanoi Opera, where we spent the final 4 nights. Amazing. Our guide / driver is a saint! No question was too stupid. No loo stop was inconvenient. He took such good care of us, and made us feel like valued friends instead of tourists. I will never forget Kenya and will go back as soon as I can. (more)

The most memorable part of the holiday was cruising down the Mekong on a local boat operated by a wonderful Laos family and staying in an eco lodge on the way. (more)It was extremely varied always interesting. The tour guide was exemplary... The selected itinerary gave a varied look at central and west Cuba. I found it well paced and fascinating. This was probably the best holiday I have ever been on. Both my son and I will never forget it. I absolutely relished being close to nature out at sea and on the island. I am definitely considering travelling to see more dolphins or whales in other parts of the world.
