The most memorable part was driving with Makoros (traditional wood boot) to our wild camping in the Okavango Delta observed by hippos.

The tents were bigger than our bedroom, the food was incredible and the hot, private in-tent camp shower so refreshing. But we were truly out in the wild and could hear baboons near our camp and find elephant dung behind the tents. I was impressed by the fact that all the walks were so varied - never the same type of scenery and all of it so beautiful!

Another magical site would be on the first dawn game drive we did and managed to see a pride of lions basking in the morning light, a cheetah prowling the plains and then the elusive leopard lazing halfway up a tree! This was probably the best holiday I have ever been on. Both my son and I will never forget it. I absolutely relished being close to nature out at sea and on the island. I am definitely considering travelling to see more dolphins or whales in other parts of the world. (more)
