The most lasting memory will probably be our stay on Amantani Island on Lake TitiKaka. We stayed with a family without water and electricity and it was both enjoyable as well as being an eye opener.

Amazing holiday. Very varied and interesting with a good mix of people of all ages and nationalities. We saw all of the top sights in the area and good trips were organised e.g. horse riding.

The tapir emerged from the forest and remained at the clay lick drinking water for an extended period of time. Simply remarkable. (more)
Trekking the Inca trail was fantastic, it exceeded all my expectations. The porters were superhuman n the tour leaders superb. It is the best experience I have had so far.

Bolivia is a beautiful country. Our tour leader was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. The most memorable part was vising the salt flats - they were beautiful, and totally original. A real experience! (more)

As each day passed it became my favourite day so far! The Inca Trail of course and the island home stay have to be my top two. The holiday was made all the more memorable because of the great group we were travelling with and of course our guide Dante.

...we were blown away by the Iguazu Falls which were just amazing! Also spending my birthday on a schooner, with bubbly and cake provided by the operator, was a lovely surprise, and I felt very spoilt!

The highlight for me was definitely the snorkeling, especially when there were sea lions about. I never thought I would be so enthusiastic about swimming with sharks! (more)
The human, non-commercial elements were as rewarding as the fixed features like Machu Picchu, Islas Ballestas, Nazca, Titicaca; the chance to explore, interact, share a joke, have fun, bargain, to understand the frustrations and limitations, to take part in local living, if only briefly (more)
The best moments were the tree frogs, manu poison frog and the rainbow boa! I really enjoyed the construction of the bird hides and biogarden even though sometimes it was really hard work! Pancakes for breakfast were great!

Torres Del Paine national park, with it’s beautiful scenery. I could have stayed forever. And the most memorable bit was when we saw a puma! Every day had a memorable event though, I can’t believe how much was packed into two weeks. (more)
Standing at the Sun's Gate looking down on Machu Picchu for the first time was awesome! Sitting on a beach having a young sea lion coming up to me and rub his whiskers against my leg was touching.
