Many memorable and exciting experiences: The awesome caves, the jungle trekking in Sangklaburi, canoeing down the river Kwai for 3 hours.

It’s hard to pick out the best bits; the whole 3 days were fab. For me it was probably the scenery at Chieow Laan Lake which is without doubt the most beautiful place I have seen. The children loved swimming and canoeing in the lake.

The location was awesome. We loved feeling far away from city life in the treehouses of the Nature Resort and the rafthouses at Chieow Laan Lake.

Brilliant holiday that I would totally recommend to other families looking for memorable adventures spanning elephants, snorkelling, river floating, boat rides, temples, spicy food and beautiful countryside and beaches.

Being up close and hands on with the elephants was amazing. You dont realise how gentle and inquisitive they really are. Don’t be scared of them, embrace it, you’re never going to get a chance to be this close again...Absolutely amazing. Would definitely go and say hello if I’m visiting Thailand again.

We have had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful time and have enjoyed exploring the local area and swimming in the pool. This was the perfect place for us to stay and we have been made really welcome, almost like a homestay but with our own bungalow and separate meals.

The highlight was swimming through a cave under a mountain and emerging on a beautiful tropical beach inside the crater! Hard to believe, I know, but true.

Walking on a completely empty long golden beach, watching the monsoon rains from our windows and kayaking in the mangrove swamp and watching the monkeys were the highlights.

Snorkelling off Phan gan and visiting the archipelagos were the best moments for me, but tubing in the rain forest and feeding the monkeys is a close second.

We had an amazing trip - the setting was out of this world from the minute we got on the boat. Our guide Aye was so friendly and helpful throughout and, it was a pleasure to relax together in the evening. We only wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you!

The Koh Sok National Park trip with the kayaking company was truly amazing. Climbed a waterfall, saw a wild baby elephant and heard the singing gibbons. Lived like the locals and ate plenty of wholesome Thai food. No frills but no illnesses either!

The Riverside Cottages at Khao Sok were wonderful... The most memorable part of the trip was the Tsunami volunteer work, particularly meeting the people of Ban Talae Nok, the women's soap collective and playing with the children.

Thai people are friendly, happy and just genuinely playful. The ocean was warm, the jellyfish were incredible and the paddling was the best we've ever encountered.

Overall this holiday was brilliant I had no idea what to expect before I went but I had so much fun, met lots of lovely people, learnt about a new culture and felt I was able to give something back to the community.

Being with the elephants and their handlers. Having the big bull elephants walk past you, just inches from your face, leaving you to feel completely small and vulnerable as these pre-historic like mammals move by with grace, softness, power and majesty!

Trekking in the hills of Northern Thailand and staying in a traditional Hilltribe Village home were the most memorable parts.
