The cross country ski in the Lapland forests, with nothing but ancient trees and animal tracks around us was the most memorable part.

(more)All of our stay was wonderful although if I had to select some highlights I would say that the husky tour, seeing the Northern Lights and meeting Santa in his cottage stood out . The latter was magical and really got us into the Christmas spirit. (more)The most memorable part was the dog sledding activity, as we harnessed the dogs and had a wonderful experience sledding with them through a blizzard in the Arctic wilderness. If I had to say one thing....I guess dog sledding on Christmas Day. (more)It's hard to say which part was most memorable - watching the Northern Lights dance in the sky as the swans sang on the river, walking in the crisp morning leaves and seeing the mist rise from the lakes, spotting reindeer among the trees... the holiday was filled with wonderful sites and sounds throughout and our hosts helped us make the most of every day.
