The cross country ski in the Lapland forests, with nothing but ancient trees and animal tracks around us was the most memorable part.
(more)All of our stay was wonderful although if I had to select some highlights I would say that the husky tour, seeing the Northern Lights and meeting Santa in his cottage stood out . The latter was magical and really got us into the Christmas spirit. (more)We traveled to northern Sweden in search of the Northern Lights. We stayed at Abisko which had the nicest group of people staying there that we could have wished for. Everything ran smoothly, the food was great and loved the whole trip. (more)It's hard to say which part was most memorable - watching the Northern Lights dance in the sky as the swans sang on the river, walking in the crisp morning leaves and seeing the mist rise from the lakes, spotting reindeer among the trees... the holiday was filled with wonderful sites and sounds throughout and our hosts helped us make the most of every day.
(more)The whole trip was a combination of uplifting, exciting, experiences which left us feeling invigorated even after our return home. I particularly enjoyed the dog sledding.
