We were of course expecting to enjoy seeing the wildlife, but our week's holiday provided much more than that. The Porini camps we stayed at were wonderful - eco-friendly, lovely setting on private conservancies, employing people from the local Massai communities. (more)Anna Economides

The organisation of our entire trip was seamless and all arragements went like clockwork. Tips? Try it, if its scenery... (more)Christine Breden

The whole two weeks was both memorable and exciting! Galapagos activity & wildlife holiday, land based
Memorable parts? All of it ! Surpassed expectations. Micromanagement by competent guides impressive. Just one guide did not speak adequate English ( on a boat tour ) Tips? Do not even clean teeth using local water. Sea water can be quite cold ( especially at Kicker Rock). Wet suit hire is cheap and advisable for some Good mosquito prophylaxis essential Local benefits? Cannot really comment - I fear for the Galapagos with plans to increase tourism dramatically (200,000 - 500,000... (more)Elizabeth Powell-Brett

Tailor made Rajasthan tour, India
Memorable parts? History and culture. I enjoyed the amazing hotels we stayed in that were beautiful locations and historical. Tips? Due to distance between locations, ensure there are two nights at every hotel. There is significant time spent driving (in a car) between each location. If flying from Delhi during December / January be aware of fog delaying / cancelling flights. Local benefits? We visited local communities (e.g. Bishnoi, Samode) but not sure how it benefitted... Cycling holiday in the Maikal Hills, Central India
Memorable parts? My wife and I went on this trip with our 17 year-old son. Even as seasoned travellers to India, we would never have been able to do this trip on our own because this part of central India really doesn't have much tourist/traveller infrastructure. Cycling from village to village was absolutely fantastic. Our wonderful guide, Saurabh, based in Raipur, was not only brilliantly organised and wonderfully knowledgeable about wildlife, architure, people, plants, birds, customs etc.... (more)Jonathan Drori

Chhattisgarh to Orissa tour in India, tribes and villages
Memorable parts? Every day we did something new and our hosts Saurabh and later, Sunny, always had a surprise in store! Though it's hard to choose one particular part (because the entire experience was amazing), the memories that will always stay with us - without needing to look at the photos - were the day-to-day interactions and chance meetings that we were fortunate to have with the local people. From watching people go about their daily business, to joining in their celebrations, we... (more)Heidi Fuller

Tanzania wildlife, people and beach holiday
A marvellous holiday that exceeded expectations in all areas! Most memorable was the incredible wildlife in both Selous and Ruaha national Parks, plus the coral reefs we saw around Mafia Island - truly spectacular. Lack of other tourists was a major plus. (more)Liz Taylor
Everything was wonderful. The setting perhaps captures most of it - staying in beautiful places in the midst of the national parks and conservation areas, where the animals were everywhere (from in camp to close by during game drives). (more)Laura Dukess
We were lucky enough to see a cheetah hunting a gazelle. Unfortunately the cheetah was unsuccessful but it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and you really felt the thrill of the chase watching the animals in action. (more)Ilana Howley

Memorable parts? The joy and relief of reaching the top of kili, timed to perfection as the sun broke through the horizon. Tips? If you want a challenge this is the trip for you and do the 7 day your body will thank you for it. Local benefits? Yes, we brought money and employment to the area, the mountain set up was great, the only visible sign is where people had left rubbish on route. (more)Daniel Waller
From £1595 excluding flights
Peru tailor made holiday, Machu Picchu & Tambopata
Memorable parts? Taking boat trips on the side tributaries of the Amazon! We loved seeing all the animals. Tips? Allow more time at the Ankatera Maccu Picchu Hotel. There is a lot to do there and we didn't allow any time there (except for seeing the ruins). Local benefits? The Amazon portion of our trip benefited local villages and supported conservation of primates. The time in the Sacred Valley definitely benefited local cooperatives and individuals. Overall rating? 9/10 (more)Nadia Al-Alawi

Visiting the two butterfly conservation areas exceeded my expectations, it was a life time experience , spectacular inspiring insight into nature , which is not marketed around the world as it deserves. Tips? Be prepared for hard physical demanding physical access to the mountains reserves. Local benefits? The local guides were fantastic and our presence contributed to the local economy.
