This was definitely a 4-star holiday!...By far the most memorable part for us was the houseboat cruise on the back waters. History, culture & wildlife of India holiday
The most exciting part was not on the original programme. We asked Rajat to give us somewhat more nature and less culture. He arranged for us to spend a day and two nights in a resort on the Kabini Lake, across from the Nagarhole National Park. On a boat safari at dusk, amidst myriad birds and beasts, we saw a male tiger emerging muddily from the river, slinking into the jungle. (more)Robin Fox

Brazil wildlife holiday, tailor made
Memorable parts? Travelling in the Amazon, unfortunately they had the worse floods in 60 years which made getting ashore more difficult but exciting!! Tips? Go for it!! But plan well ahead and take the appropriate clothing etc. Local benefits? When in Rio a trip to the Flavella'a was beneficial to the local people, as I understand that the tour operator paid a percentage, plus the visitors purchased drinks in their local bars. Wildlife holiday in Sri Lanka, private departure
Memorable parts? Being at Mihintale on a Poya day was a great experience, seeing a historic site still attended and used as part of Sri Lankan culture, vibrant and busy with people celebrating family and practicing their faith. The walk at dawn over Horton Plains to the beautiful World's End. And you can't beat the Elephants. Tips? Do your research and discuss what you want out of your holiday with John. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Local benefits? I think pretty... (more)Cara Foord

Trinidad and Tobago nature tours
They have a philosophy where their priority is for conservation and education, trying to increase local people's knowledge of local flora and fauna, they also educate young people to become guides. (more)Val Wilkie
The stars of the fortnight were definitely the birds: from thousands of scarlet ibis coming in to roost, tiny iridescent hummingbirds battling over sugar feeders, beautiful elegant tropic birds soaring above or comical tiny male manakins dancing to attract a female. Undersea life was a very close second - it was like swimming in an aquarium just a few metres off shore. (more)Julia Chandler
Wonderful, loved being surrounded by nature. The leatherback turtles laying on the beach was also a highlight. (more)Rosie Sutcliffe
From £2395 - £3150 including UK flights
Trinidad and Tobago bird watching holidays
We had a 2 week trip and saw 191 different species of birds. In a trip like this where so much is new and exciting the opportunity to see so many new things became the pleasure of trip. The guides were extraordinary. All of them were skilled, dedicated and knowledgeable, and were able to locate what they were looking for. (more)Beverly Tabor
Well worth going in the rainy season - rain storms are usually short lived and the number of visitors are much lower than they would be in high season. (more)Chris Goddard
It was a wonderful experience and we will remember some lovely people from the islands who helped make it a holiday of a lifetime. (more)Nigel Scott

Tanzania wildlife, people and beach holiday
A marvellous holiday that exceeded expectations in all areas! Most memorable was the incredible wildlife in both Selous and Ruaha national Parks, plus the coral reefs we saw around Mafia Island - truly spectacular. Lack of other tourists was a major plus. (more)Liz Taylor
Everything was wonderful. The setting perhaps captures most of it - staying in beautiful places in the midst of the national parks and conservation areas, where the animals were everywhere (from in camp to close by during game drives). (more)Laura Dukess
We were lucky enough to see a cheetah hunting a gazelle. Unfortunately the cheetah was unsuccessful but it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and you really felt the thrill of the chase watching the animals in action. (more)Ilana Howley

Selous Game Reserve safari, Tanzania
Most memorable was having such close contact with the animals as the lodges were not enclosed. In Ruaha River Lodge a male elephant crossed the river while we sat watching from our verandah and went beside our house to wander round the lodge. (more)Sheila Lucas
There were too many moments, the entire trip was memorable and exciting. I absolutely adored Sable Mountain Lodge, it was beautiful and relaxing. (more)Lisa Schooley
Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! Probably joint first with a long trip to Belize. (more)Jo Maw

Sabah & Sarawak holiday in Borneo
It was an amazing wildlife adventure - I feel very fortunate to have seen freshly hatched baby green turtles and wild orangutans. (more)Claire Onody
There were many memorable moments. Too few to fully list out! One destination was the Gomantong Birdnest Caves. The main cave tests all your senses. Certainly a location for the next Indiana Jones film, not for flip-flop wearing tourists! (more)Jonathan Reed-Lethbridge
From £2535 including UK flights
Indonesia holidays, tailor made, Orangutans & Komodo dragons
Fantastic! It was incredible to have everything pre-arranged and all the logistics sorted out for us, so relaxing and just what we needed after a hectic wedding! Most memorable was staying with the Iban tribe and seeing the orangutans in Sarawak, and Borobudur at sunset in Java. (more)Portia Lloyd
Really brilliant - it was our honeymoon and we really had a fabulous time. It was so well organised by the operator which took a lot of the stress out of travelling which was exactly what we needed with such a complicated itinerary. The hotels we stayed in were second to none - really fabulous and we were spoilt rotten! (more)Erin Bunting
Seeing the orang-utans at Tanjung Puting National Park was the highlight, followed closely by the couple of days spent on board the boat to Komodo Island. The orang-utans were a joy to watch and we felt privileged to see these animals in their natural habitat. (more)Kathryn White

Sri Lanka birding & cultural tour
This was the most fantastic holiday. I was not that keen on going, but my husband is a very keen birder and he really wanted to go. I am now so glad he persuaded me, and will definitely visit Sri Lanka again... (more)John Diley
This was a really excellent holiday. We had fun, we were stimulated, we were educated and we made good friends with our locals who showed us their country. We also feel that we had excellent value for money with two locals, a new vehicle, most meals, all entrance fees and other extras included for a very inexpensive daily rate. (more)Keith Pigdon
It was great and our guide, Jith, was an incredible birder, funny, and generous. The most memorable was the smiles of all the people in Sri Lanka whom we passed in our bird walks and the children who got all excited and waved and called to us (more)Gisela Meyn

Gujarat holidays, Asiatic Lions, Blackbuck & Wild Asses
We really enjoyed the holiday....To enter through the gate of the Taj Mahal at dawn with only 8/10 people in front of you. What an amazing place! (more)Evert Versteeg
Where to start! The lions, the leopard and her cub, the jungle cat kitten, or the magical sighting of wolves. The insight into Gujarati culture was also unforgettable and we were grateful to our driver, Mr Khuman Singh, for not only finding us so much wildlife but also introducing us to local people from all walks of life. (more)Gillian Brand
Fantastic, the mix of adventure with luxury was amazing and the team tried very hard to meet our wishes. It is said all too often how unique somewhere is or a trip is, but in 20 years of travel to India we have never been to such a mix of unique wildlife spots with wonderful palace and fort like accommodation.
