The highlight was swimming through a cave under a mountain and emerging on a beautiful tropical beach inside the crater! Hard to believe, I know, but true.

The most memorable parts of our trip must be the crazy cyclo tour through the streets of Saigon and eating insects in a bar overlooking Phnom Penh!

Snorkelling for the first time in Nha Trang (and second time in Ko Phi Phi!) was fantastic, jungle trekking in both Thailand and Malaysia was awesome...Outstanding - varied, educational and stacks of fun.

I enjoyed so many things about my holiday, I had a truly fantastic time but if I had to choose I would say the hill-tribe trek, that was a great experience for many reasons, I especially loved seeing the tribes & the breath-taking landscape it was unbelievable I thought, a special experience.

It was an excellent holiday one of our best holidays. The local guide was lovely, he tried to teach us an elephant song!

The most memorable occasion was the meal prepared for us by the family in the house on stilts and the chance to try the local delicacy (afterwards), fried tarantula.

The most memorable part of the holiday was the first village stay on the hill tribe trek - we were the first group to stay in this village, and the kids were so excited to see us that I think we became a free babysitting service to the whole village for the entire night!

The temples in Angkor Wat / Siem Reap were incredible. The roads in Cambodia were pretty memorable as well [though for a completely different reason!].

I enjoyed the homestay the most as I felt like we got to understand a little bit about the people and managed to keep fit with the kids :)

The train Journey from Bangkok, the days on the Mekong and the guided tour of Bangkok were the highlights.

The Koh Sok National Park trip with the kayaking company was truly amazing. Climbed a waterfall, saw a wild baby elephant and heard the singing gibbons. Lived like the locals and ate plenty of wholesome Thai food. No frills but no illnesses either!

The Riverside Cottages at Khao Sok were wonderful... The most memorable part of the trip was the Tsunami volunteer work, particularly meeting the people of Ban Talae Nok, the women's soap collective and playing with the children.

Thai people are friendly, happy and just genuinely playful. The ocean was warm, the jellyfish were incredible and the paddling was the best we've ever encountered.

Thoroughly enjoyable, we had a variety of very stimulating and interesting experiences. We felt we were in the company of likeminded fellow travellers, which obviously added to the enjoyment.

Beyond and all around the jungle rolled away in a series of luscious green hilltops, into a misty purple distance. This was home for the night. You felt you were the first people on earth: it was a privilege to be in such a lonely and exquisitely beautiful place. I'll never forget it.

Most memorable was trekking in Chang Mai, without a doubt. The itinerary was amazing and we'll never forget the bamboo rafts being made right in front of us, the elephant trek and the hospitality of the hill tribes.
