Snorkelling for the first time in Nha Trang (and second time in Ko Phi Phi!) was fantastic, jungle trekking in both Thailand and Malaysia was awesome...Outstanding - varied, educational and stacks of fun.
(more)I enjoyed so many things about my holiday, I had a truly fantastic time but if I had to choose I would say the hill-tribe trek, that was a great experience for many reasons, I especially loved seeing the tribes & the breath-taking landscape it was unbelievable I thought, a special experience. We had a wonderful time at this village. It was a good blend of relaxation and excursion. The host couple, Noi and David are very warm people and made efforts to make this trip a memorable one for us. Our 19 month old had great company with the village kids. (more)The traditional Thai dancing was absolutely stunning – we had a taste of four different types of dance by the elegant dancers, as well as a charming routine by a young girl. The most memorable part of my holiday was spending the day in the school. Seeing the kids' smiling faces while enjoying learning was awesome. It appears that the operator knows that every child has the ability and right to learn. They've created a space for these children to do just that and it is obviously the kids feel like it is "their" place...Amazing! (more)
We have had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful time and have enjoyed exploring the local area and swimming in the pool. This was the perfect place for us to stay and we have been made really welcome, almost like a homestay but with our own bungalow and separate meals.
