Snorkelling for the first time in Nha Trang (and second time in Ko Phi Phi!) was fantastic, jungle trekking in both Thailand and Malaysia was awesome...Outstanding - varied, educational and stacks of fun.

(more)I enjoyed so many things about my holiday, I had a truly fantastic time but if I had to choose I would say the hill-tribe trek, that was a great experience for many reasons, I especially loved seeing the tribes & the breath-taking landscape it was unbelievable I thought, a special experience. The whole experience was far better than any expectations I had, from the temples of Angkor to the markets, the local cuisine, the activities, this trip was just one memorable experience after another...I can’t wait to book my next trip! (more)The temples in Angkor Wat / Siem Reap were incredible. The roads in Cambodia were pretty memorable as well [though for a completely different reason!]. (more)The temples (including Angkor Wat) around Siam Reap were wonderful. But our two day trip on the Mekong to Luang Prabang and, Luang Prabang itself were very memorable. It was a wondeful experience in every respect. The organisation and choice of hotels and guides was excellent. (more)The most memorable part of the holiday was the first village stay on the hill tribe trek - we were the first group to stay in this village, and the kids were so excited to see us that I think we became a free babysitting service to the whole village for the entire night!

Snorkelling off Phan gan and visiting the archipelagos were the best moments for me, but tubing in the rain forest and feeding the monkeys is a close second. (more)
Thoroughly enjoyable, we had a variety of very stimulating and interesting experiences. We felt we were in the company of likeminded fellow travellers, which obviously added to the enjoyment.

The traditional Thai dancing was absolutely stunning – we had a taste of four different types of dance by the elegant dancers, as well as a charming routine by a young girl. It was also wonderful to visit a local temple with Tim, who was a delightfully warm & friendly guide. (more)
Beyond and all around the jungle rolled away in a series of luscious green hilltops, into a misty purple distance. This was home for the night. You felt you were the first people on earth: it was a privilege to be in such a lonely and exquisitely beautiful place. I'll never forget it.
