Thailand holidays, tailor made
The temples (including Angkor Wat) around Siam Reap were wonderful. But our two day trip on the Mekong to Luang Prabang and, Luang Prabang itself were very memorable. It was a wondeful experience in every respect. The organisation and choice of hotels and guides was excellent. (more)

Thailand tailor made holiday
Brilliant holiday that I would totally recommend to other families looking for memorable adventures spanning elephants, snorkelling, river floating, boat rides, temples, spicy food and beautiful countryside and beaches. (more)

Volunteering in Thailand, wildlife rescue centre
I went to the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Thailand, this was a fantastic project helping animals who had been mostly kept as pets. It’s hard to say what was the most memorable part of this holiday as there was so much variety and different experiences, it’s difficult to decide what was the best part of it.  (more)

It was all terrific. We are four- a seven year old, a 16 year old, my wife and me. Trying to find a holiday that suits everyone is always hard - this holiday did that and more! ... A gem of a company and a gem of a guide!  (more)

Thailand wildlife & beach holiday
The Koh Sok National Park trip with the kayaking company was truly amazing. Climbed a waterfall, saw a wild baby elephant and heard the singing gibbons. Lived like the locals and ate plenty of wholesome Thai food. No frills but no illnesses either! (more)

Cultural immersion holiday in Thailand
The traditional Thai dancing was absolutely stunning – we had a taste of four different types of dance by the elegant dancers, as well as a charming routine by a young girl. It was also wonderful to visit a local temple with Tim, who was a delightfully warm & friendly guide. (more)

Thailand travel information

Bangkok may appear increasingly westernised, but even here in the capital city modern life is underpinned by a strong sense of history and tradition. The network of canals (khlongs) offers visitors a different view of city life from that which is presented in the teeming bustle of the streets. There are over 300 Buddhist temples and shrines within the city limits, and among other sites of interest are the Pakkard Palace, National Museum and famous floating market.

In the central plains, the ancient city kingdom of Sukhothai is a World Heritage Site and covers a huge area of palaces, temples, pavilions, lakes and waterways. There are numerous community-based trips and visits available in Thailand, especially in the north around Chiang Mai, where the rich heritage and traditional lives of the various hill tribes can be experienced by staying in local villages.
