It’s hard to pick out the best bits; the whole 3 days were fab. For me it was probably the scenery at Chieow Laan Lake which is without doubt the most beautiful place I have seen. The children loved swimming and canoeing in the lake.
(more)The location was awesome. We loved feeling far away from city life in the treehouses of the Nature Resort and the rafthouses at Chieow Laan Lake. (more)I went to the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Thailand, this was a fantastic project helping animals who had been mostly kept as pets. It’s hard to say what was the most memorable part of this holiday as there was so much variety and different experiences, it’s difficult to decide what was the best part of it.

Having the big bull elephants walk past you, just inches from your face, leaving you to feel completely small and vulnerable as these pre-historic like mammals move by with grace, softness, power and majesty! Don’t be scared of them, embrace it, you’re never going to get a chance to be this close again...Absolutely amazing. Would definitely go and say hello if I’m visiting Thailand again. (more)The Koh Sok National Park trip with the kayaking company was truly amazing. Climbed a waterfall, saw a wild baby elephant and heard the singing gibbons. Lived like the locals and ate plenty of wholesome Thai food. No frills but no illnesses either!
