Every day was fabulous always something different... travelling with like minded people was also a good thing. (more)Valerie Koppi
Gorillas!!!!!. Interacting with them was the most exceptional experience elf my life and the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had. Its is without comparison. The Masai Mara was amazing, will decamping was a buzz and White water rafting on the Nile was an amazing experience but being close to the African people(especially the happy kids) and not isolated in 5 star resorts made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. (more)Mark Asquith
It was excellent. I would go again tomorrow... it was such a fabulous trip from the start in Kigali to the end in Nairobi. Seeing the gorillas was obviously so special and memorable and the rafting in jinja was an unexpected highlight. Also the people in my group and our fabulous exodus team who were to efficient, friendly, patient and organised. (more)Sally Knowles-Jackson

Winter adventure in Finland
Every day was an adventure, so difficult to single one experience out really, but I'll go for the husky sledding. We expected someone else to be driving - controlling the dogs yourself (though I use the word "control" in the loosest sense) was utterly exhilarating. The accommodation and surroundings were fabulous too. (more)Jonathan Green
Excellent experience, good taster of the best that Lapland has to offer. Beautifully snowy countryside and not as cold as I expected. Most memorable was overnight husky safari, getting to bond with your team of dogs. Then running out in our pyjamas to watch the northern lights! (more)Amanda Newnham
The two day husky safari was the most memorable part... A great variety of activities to wet your appetite. (more)Ian Wilkinson

South Africa Safari holiday, 14 days
10/10 it was amazing. We were so well looked after and treated as part of the family at our main resort. it was very hectic as we stayed at 6 locations so it involved a lot of travelling. but now we are back, we realise how much we packed in and how much we saw. it was a trip of a lifetime for us, so we really appreciate all the things we gained from our trip and are now saving hard to go again!! Morocco small group adventure tour
Memorable parts? I loved the night in the Sahara and travelling through the High Atlas Tips? There is a lot of time spent on the bus so bring a good book. Also remember the driver sees this landscape all the time and while it is extraordinary to us to him it's not so shout stop when you need to and get off to admire and photograph. Local benefits? I feel it may have had some benefit by bringing income into some of the more remote areas but I don't feel I spent enough time... (more)Jane Matthews

The holiday consisted of two parts, the first was sea kayaking around Komodo National park and the second part was trekking in the northern jungle of Sumatra. The main highlights included seeing Komodo Dragons, orangutans, elephant trekking, the scenery the people I meet and the landscapes. All made the holiday excellent. (more)Steve Bosworth
Far too many to mention, but I'll have a go: sleeping on deserted beaches, a school of dolphins passing just in front of our kayak, seeing a shark while snorkelling, the sound of two very large komodo dragons running through the undergrowth in our direction, great food and an outstanding local guide. (more)Liz Kalton
I loved the kayaking, the snorkelling and seeing the Komodo Dragons... It was great, would do it again but needs a few more days kayaking in it! (more)Karen Trotter

Memorable parts? Meeting the friendly peoples of Burma. Visiting the Elephant Sanctuary, feeding the elephants and giving them a scrub in the river and enjoying a tasty lunch at the centre. Trekking for 2 days and staying in the village. The markets we visited were amazing places, I took so many pictures and didnt buy much, because I was too busy looking at the diverse people. Tips? Memorable parts? 'Most memorable' is a hard call - I lost count of the number of times we said, 'Isn't that amazing!' Going to St George's Basilica for the Christmas Eve service on 6th January. How the stars blazed when we camped 12,000 feet up in the Simien mountains. Staying in a traditional house in the old quarter in the Muslim town of Harar.
