Family cycling holiday in Kenya & Tanzania
Wonderful guides, incredible access to the remotest regions and real people... Wonderful - genuinely the holiday of a lifetime and a never to be forgotten special experience. (more)Dan Cobley
Every day brought new experiences. The animals just kept coming out on cue! Brilliant - I don’t know how we will top it. (more)Monica Szolin-Jones
Most memorable were waking to the sound of a lion killing a wildebeast behind our tent in Amboseli National Park campsite. Singing and dancing with 500 children from a local primary school in Tanzania. (more)Gaenor Morris
From NZ $3690 - NZ $4490 excluding flights
Yoga retreats in Andalucia, Spain
Go for it! The employees were locals and our cook was an organic farmer. Food waste was recycled back to feed the chickens on the farm :) Eco-friendly products were used. Wonderful! A revitalising experience. (more)Elizabeth Reuben
Wonderful - I cannot recommend this holiday highly enough: such a patient and encouraging yoga teacher and the food was delicious. I feel I benefitted physically, emotionally and spiritually. I came home relaxed and healthy and I still keep in regular contact with my new international friends. (more)Sheila Scott
The retreat was exactly and absolutely everything that everyone has written about it and more! (more)Maggie Lamb
From €649 - €1149 excluding flights
Umbria cooking holiday, Italy
The cookery course was fun and we made tasty but not too fiddly food, so what you learn you can put to use when you return home. (more)nicola cosgrove
They were the perfect hosts! They always catered for our every need and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was an enjoyable one. We would not hesitate to book this holiday again! (more)Joanne Anagnostu
The location is stunning, Marina and Gianluca make you feel welcome, and they work exceedingly hard to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. We came to learn cookery, but Marina ensures you know about so much more. I can't wait to try some of the recipes we have been taught. (more)Joanne Wilkins
From €1100 - €1200 excluding flights
Mongolia adventure holiday, off the beaten track
Memorable, beautiful, with a bit of challenge [especially for a 75 year old, me] (more)Elizabeth Wingate
The most memorable parts were: Travelling across vast plains in the Gobi, with no roads no buildings no artificial light, and stopping to listen to the silence. The immense blue sky. The generosity and kindness of Mongolians... (more)Alison Cathles
From £1538 - £2629 excluding flights
Nepal extreme activity holiday
Brilliant!! The most memorable part has to have been rafting the G4 rapids on the Bhote Koshi with thunder and lightning, rain bouncing off the water and 1.5cm hailstones falling from the sky, still all in 27 degrees heat, wow amazing! (more)Neil Whittemore
I had a brilliant time on this holiday and it fulfilled most of what I wanted to get out of the trip. (more)Murray Hendriksen
From £1690 including domestic flights only
Lapland family winter adventure holiday
Riding the snow mobiles over the most beautiful landscape in Nellim and experiencing the true culture of Finnish Lapland has to be the best, but there were so many things that we loved...other included tours that we did like the husky safari, cross country skiing, snow shoe walking... (more)Brenda Foster
The husky sledding was the most interactive and therefore enjoyable day...We had a very happy and relaxing time. The local activities (Haariniva) guide Jaako was a particularly motivated, able, caring, patient and sensible guy. The hotel facilities and staff were very good. (more)Alastair Deery
The holiday was, quite simply, fantastic and it is difficult to pick "best bits". For me it was simply being outdoors in a very different environment. (more)Elizabeth Johnston
From £1495 including UK flights

From €790 - €920 excluding flights
Delhi to Goa overland tour
Memorable parts? Seeing was believing when it came to the Taj Mahal, not many places live up to be better than you anticipate as this place did. My wife and I have done some travelling, but this has to be the most impressive building we have ever witnessed. The Taj Mahal was almost worth the tour fee alone. Tips? Do not be put off by such a cheap price for the package, if we had paid treble we still would have been getting value for money! Don't be put off by such high attention from... (more)Jonathan Kenyon
From £620 - £749 excluding flights
Self guided walking holiday in France
Really ,really good, relaxing and refreshing. You will be very well looked after and feel genuinely welcome. (more)Jane Haywood
This was an excellent holiday. Our hosts were wonderful, the other guests (all British) were delightful, and the hikes, food, and wine were exceptional. (more)Katherine Layton
We particularly enjoyed the convivial company at meal times and our hosts taking the time to share meals and local insight with us. Carol's cooking combined the best of local produce and traditional French cookery. (more)Elizabeth Anderson

Small group holiday to Burma
Don't hesitate - just go! The operator are an independent company who care that you get the best holiday possible. And they are small enough to make sure you see some of the top sights, but also get you in to see off the beaten track places. (more)Helen White
Burma is such a fabulous country to visit - our itinerary included one or more highlights every day. The crowning glory of our tour was our guide Po. He looked after our group of six as if we were family. (more)Stephanie Diggon
It was all new and exciting for that reason …… very heart warming to see what is flourishing in Myanmar and also fearful that some not such good things come with the advent of more tourism. Our trip to Pagan and Inle Lake are the highlights for me. (more)Jane Edington
From £2725 - £3195 including UK flights
Laos small group holiday
Memorable parts? The boat trip down the Mekong. So relaxing. Tips? Keep luggage to a minimum. Laundry facilities are widely available and you'll have more room in your case for purchases. Local benefits? Yes. Local village people, prosthetics provision and literacy help having a direct effect on Laos citizens. Overall rating? Very interesting and well paced. (more)Chris Williams
From £995 - £1255 including domestic flights only
Mexico, Belize and Guatemala holiday
Memorable parts? The morning spent at Tikal in Guatemala was excellent. This activity is definitely best done in the early morning light as it gets very warm and less pleasant to walk in the jungle after 10am. Tips? This is quite a short tour for the distance covered. I would suggest looking at tours staying at least 2 nights in most places in order to really get a sense of the country and culture Local benefits? Somewhat. The use of local transport in some instances certainly... (more)Diana Urbina
From £783 - £869 excluding flights
Southern Madagascar holidays, Lemurs, baobabs & beaches
Memorable parts? The most memorable part of the holiday was visiting the National Parks in Madagascar. Tips? Beware of the tour description because it's deceiving. For example, day 4 of my tour was described as: "We will set off early this morning towards Antsirabe (via Tana)... Once in Tana, the journey takes approximately 3+ hours on a good, windy road." Well, the reality is that the road has sections in such bad condition that the car could go no faster than 10 miles per hour,... (more)Alex Carballo-Dieguez

Biking holiday in Kenya & Tanzania
I would go again without hesitation. A perfectly organized tour with enough space for individual changes. Well done! (more)Roman Holderbach
The most memorable part of our holiday was the time spent in a very remote area of Tanzania with the Masai. We were privileged to visit their homes and witness their day to day living. An amazing experience! (more)Susan Ducollet-Holliday
Brilliant! I have done supported tours in USA, Cuba, Brazil and Europe and this is the gold standard in terms of support, food, attention to detail, professionalism, friendliness etc. etc. I cannot recommend this company too highly. Go have fun! (more)Jane Thurnell-Read

Peru and Inca Trail small group tour
One of the best I have had, a truly wonderful experience...the trip to Machu Picchu stands out just because it is such an iconic place, but the rainforest, the desert, lake Titicaca, Cusco, Colcha Canyon, were all brilliant places to visit. (more)David Greaves
The holiday was superb from start to finish and far exceeded our expectations. The expected highlights of Macchu Picchu etc lived up to expectations with the remaining destinations visited exceeding them (rainforest... colca canyon and sacred valley). (more)Duncan Cairns
Utterly fantastic! (more)Jo Curry

The local community did benefit as we ate locally produced/sourced food and wine and stopped for breaks in local cafes. The local community were, without exception, welcoming and friendly. (more)Alex Sohal
Most memorable was discovering the local history and wildlife under the care of our very knowledgeable hosts, plus lots of brilliant walks in the beautiful Pyrenean Mountains, plus the excellent food! (more)Caroline Rae
The scenery around Bareges is fantastic, and apart from the visit to the Cirque de Gavarnie, which is a popular tourist destination, we practically had the mountains to ourselves. (more)H M Gill

Cambodia holidays, Phnom Penh & Angkor
Tourism is an important employer in Cambodia so our staying in small hotels and using local guides, river boats, the bamboo train etc were all supportive. (more)Andrew Whitrow
Fantastic window into cambodia. we needed a few days on a thai beach to assimilate it all. (more)Anna Bradley
So many things were amazing. Seeing the sun rise at Angkor Wat, trekking in the Kulen mountains and camping overnight at the monastery at the top. My daughter would say it was riding on an elephant, something she has always wanted to do. (more)Janet Potts
From £1850 - £2050 including UK flights
Hiking holidays in Scotland
Memorable parts? The walking, the food, and Rebecca and Andy's hospitality. Local benefits? Andy and Rebecca have tried really hard to create a B&B which offers a very comfortable experience but yet limits the environmental impact. Everything that can be recycled or reused is, but yet at the same time this doesn’t effect the quality of the service offered and I feel this certainly adds to the whole experience and ambience of the lodge. Overall rating? An excellent holiday,... (more)Ruth Seward
From £785 - £890 excluding flights
Walking holiday in France, Mercantour Reflections
Tres bien! Liz and Mel took good care of us and went above and beyond our expectations to ensure our holiday was great. Good value, too! (more)Holly Evans

From £645 excluding flights
Overland tour of Kenya to Rwanda, gorillas and gameparks
Memorable parts? Seeing the gorillas. Visiting the Pygmy village. Tips? Bring long trousers and T-shirts to cover up in Uganda. Pack lightly as there is laundry at the campsite. Local benefits? Yes, particularly when visiting the Pygmy village and the Kenyan school. My trip was the first 19 days of a longer 75 day tour. Whilst I did not go on this activity I know that later in the longer tour they go on a lion walk. I would urge you to research the company that runs this... (more)Genevieve Isherwood

The painting experience and teaching was the most memorable part of the holiday. (more)Luisa Brenta
