Cape Town to Victoria Falls small group tour
Memorable parts? Driving with Makoros (traditional wood boot) to our wild camping in the Okavango Delta observed by hippos. Tips? Take thermal underwear with you when going on this trip in Africa's winter. The temperature at night was sub zero and morning/evenings were cold as well. Local benefits? Yes, we contributed to the local economy and tried to leave only foot prints. Overall rating? Even I am not reborn I would give 5 stars. It was one of my best holidays... (more)Sigrid Pach

It was all new and exciting for that reason …… very heart warming to see what is flourishing in Myanmar and also fearful that some not such good things come with the advent of more tourism. Our trip to Pagan and Inle Lake are the highlights for me. (more)Jane Edington
The most memorable parts are hard to choose between the wonder of Shwedeagon Pagoda with all it's glittering gold, river journey down the Ayeyarrwady and first sight of Bagan, then cycling around it, relaxing time on Inle Lake, and visiting the botanic gardens in Pyin U-Lwin and the hills of Kalaw. Almost perfect. Our guide was fun as well as being really informative. Apart from the hotel in Yangon all the accommodation was much better than I expected. Every day was fabulous always something different... travelling with like minded people was also a good thing. (more)Valerie Koppi
Gorillas!!!!!. Interacting with them was the most exceptional experience elf my life and the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had. Its is without comparison. The Masai Mara was amazing, will decamping was a buzz and White water rafting on the Nile was an amazing experience but being close to the African people(especially the happy kids) and not isolated in 5 star resorts made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. (more)Mark Asquith
It was excellent. I would go again tomorrow... it was such a fabulous trip from the start in Kigali to the end in Nairobi. Memorable parts? The scenery was just fantastic, and I really enjoyed being with the huskies. The whole experience was like nothing I've ever done before. Tips? Be reasonably fit and you will enjoy the trip more, and don't go directly from a warm climate without acclimatising somewhere for the cold beforehand. Local benefits? Fantastic window into cambodia. we needed a few days on a thai beach to assimilate it all. (more)Anna Bradley
So many things were amazing. Seeing the sun rise at Angkor Wat, trekking in the Kulen mountains and camping overnight at the monastery at the top. My daughter would say it was riding on an elephant, something she has always wanted to do. (more)Janet Potts
Rather to my surprise, given that I went solely to see Angkor, the most memorable part was probably eating real food in local Cambodian eating places...I would rate is as well constructed and well led - and well enjoyed. What more could I have wanted? It was perfect. (more)C Beels

Winter adventure in Finland
Every day was an adventure, so difficult to single one experience out really, but I'll go for the husky sledding. We expected someone else to be driving - controlling the dogs yourself (though I use the word "control" in the loosest sense) was utterly exhilarating. The accommodation and surroundings were fabulous too. (more)Jonathan Green

Angkor Wat tour
Memorable parts? First sight on Angkor Wat before sunrise, silhouetted against a dark sky. Tips? Bring sunscreen! Local benefits? We had a great local guide, but I was concerned about the impact of our big, air-conditioned bus & noisy diesel longtail boat during the trip up Tonle Sap. I'd like to know more about how money from tourism actually infiltrates the local economy. I'm concerned that tourism is creating a dependent, vassal class of native servants & merchants. (more)Diane Pittman
