Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
Very enjoyable
It was OK
A bit disappointing really
Isle of Mull and west coast of Scotland cruise
From
£1,885
excluding flights
Memorable parts? The whole of our holiday was wonderful. The crew were all great, friendly and so helpful. The food was delicious every meal, and plentiful too! The cruise was the best way to see some of Scotland’s beautiful scenery and wildlife. The only fault, we wished it didn't have to end! Tips? Don't forget your binoculars. Sensible shoes and a waterproof for when up on deck and the weather damp. Local benefits? I am not sure about these things as we didn't buy any... (more)julie Clease

We were a small and delightful group. The boat was cozy and comfortable, the landscapes and cloudscapes, sublime; and the day trips and hikes, especially our visit to Iona and its sacred and ancient abbey were vitamin C for the spirit. (more)Patricia Knowles

Perfect!....The best thing about the holiday was having no internet connection & very little mobile coverage. Memorable parts? Traveling without a car made us travel with less, slow down, and engage more with people around us. So we had a wonderful time meeting people from Scotland and all over, which was great. Tips? Recognize that you'll spend a bit more time getting between places than you otherwise might, so let go of the rush to "get there". And pack light. Local benefits? Shakespeares Way & Thames Path walking holiday
From
£533

Memorable parts? During the course of the week one cannot fail to be impressed by the sights seen on the Thames Path, sadly the planned programme didn't allow time to visit these places. Tips? To make sure that the daily walks are within their capabilities, even though the paths are on the level. The Thames path is well maintained but it was noticeable as you approached London, through London and to the east that a number of the signs had been vandalised/pointing in the wrong direction.... Hiking holidays in Scotland
From
£1,010

Memorable parts? The walking, the food, and Rebecca and Andy's hospitality. Local benefits? Andy and Rebecca have tried really hard to create a B&B which offers a very comfortable experience but yet limits the environmental impact. Everything that can be recycled or reused is, but yet at the same time this doesn’t effect the quality of the service offered and I feel this certainly adds to the whole experience and ambience of the lodge. Overall rating? An excellent holiday,... (more)Ruth Seward
