...had a truly transformational effect on our twin boys. A stunningly beautiful location and very comfortable cottage...our best ever family holiday. (more)Philip Burston
The most memorable part of the holiday was the absolutely stunning view from the cottage, watching the mountains changing as mist drifted over them and then the light and shadows constantly changed as the mountains were revealed and highlighted. (more)Gabrielle Lorenz

Carmarthenshire self catering cottage in Wales
We had a great time - relaxing, some beautiful experiences (beaches, hills, islands and all the above animals). We were in bed every night by 9.30pm - tired but blissfully comfortable after a day spent exploring. (more)Jayne Obeng
Perfect!....The best thing about the holiday was having no internet connection & very little mobile coverage. It made it a total break away & allowed us to appreciate everything about the location of cottage & the amazing surrounding area. It was a complete break away which is what a holiday should be. Memorable parts? The coasteering half day event. Tips? Take ear plugs as noise from other rooms and late comers does travel although it was not a major problem. Be aware that there is no mobile phone coverage at lodge. Local benefits? Yes. Overall rating? 8/10. (more)Helen Morrell
From £219 - £225 excluding flights

Memorable parts? The area is offering so much - I simply couldn't walk and explore enough. After a long day, there was always time for a cup of tea and a little chat. Tips? It's a great getaway when you need a break from your daily routine and a stressful lifestyle. You'll have loads of space and a warm bed awaiting when you're coming back from wandering around or mountainbiking. Local benefits? Definitely. The area itself is very well-preserved and people are trying hard... (more)Hanna Leipold

Snowdonia guesthouse & B&B
Memorable parts? The most memorable part was actually getting a rear wheel puncture down a lovely country lane and not being able to get the back wheel off to repair it! However, equally as memorable was the fantastic Welsh hospitality when a couple looked after our bikes while another lady - totally unknown to us - took us back to our accom to collect our car. Really friendly people! Tips? Be more prepared than we were!! We went on a cycling and walking weekend and thought we were... (more)Monica Stephens
