Wildlife sailing holiday in Scotland
Wonderful holiday and great value for money. I'm considering running away to sea! (more)Patricia Moss
The most memorable part of my time on St. Hilda was the amazing spectacular scenery of Scotland, the sea lochs, seals, birds, jelly fish and the warm welcome. The knowledge and expertise of Colette and Michael on the whole trip. The lovely food, Colette is a great cook, but very modest! The being at sea. Sleeping in a Bunk, hearing the sound of the wind and waves, feeling warm and cosey! (more)Sue Holloway
What can one say about this holiday it has to be one of the best holidays I have ever been on with two of the best hosts you could ever wish to meet in Michael and Colette who make your trip so wonderful and informative and the fellow passengers John, Julie, Peter and Mike who it was a pleasure to sail with. Adventure cruise in Scotland, lochs and canals
A fabulous unique opportunity to enjoy and marvel at nature in all its glory....The most outstanding part of the trip was definitely the experience of being immersed in the stunningly beautiful environment of the lochs of western Scotland. (more)David Ritchie
A really terrific week which we will always remember (along with how to tie a bowline). Two of my colleagues at work have already expressed interest! (more)Helen Newton
Absolutely fantastic for ALL ages, young and old. Colette is a brilliant cook and the meal she made out of freshly caught Mackerel fish has set a very high bench mark to beat. Michael knows so much and is a very patient teacher. We miss them dearly - thank you for a trip to remember! (more)Lani Retter

Short break cruise in Scotland, Western Isles
Memorable parts? The stunning scenery and peaceful moorings. The wildlife especially the seals and beautiful shoals of jellyfish floating like alien creatures in a calm sea. The first ever fish caught by one of our party - a splendid mackerel! The delicious food and good company of Michael and Colette. The successful descent into the dinghy of a nervous member of our party - if she can do it with Michael's patient help anyone can. Raising and lowering the anchor - tying knots and rope throwing... Isle of Skye guest house and activity centre, Scotland
Memorable parts? Walking the fabulous Quirang loop trail. Tips? Leave enough time for driving the single track roads on beautiful Skye. Getting around takes longer than you'd think from the map. Local benefits? The b and b owners are careful with resources. Overall rating? I'd happily go back to Skye for more walking (and eating - the quality of the restaurants in Breakish and Carbost surprised us). (more)Jennifer Duschenes
