India wildlife camp, Jalore Wildlife Sanctuary
The highlight of my trip was the Jalore Wildlife Sanctuary. I was welcome by the owners of the land and taken around on night safaris by the son Ravindra. (more)Viveca Ott
Seeing all three cat species that live savely in the sanctuary was amazing (they where the reason for me wanting to go there). Jungle cat from up 15 m! (more)Yvonne Rijsdijk
We had a truly amazing holiday, we were looked after as if we were royalty by our hosts Gajendra and Ravi and wanted for nothing from the moment we were picked up at Jodhpur airport. (more)Philippa Marland

Adventure holiday in Egypt
Memorable parts? Aaah! How can I narrow them down........flying in a hot-air balloon over the Valley of the Kings at Luxor and marvelling at it all below....riding a donkey through an Egyptian village for an hour......waking up extremely early in the morning, boarding our mini-bus and then along with 50 other tour buses escorted by police for the 3 hour drive across the desert to the Sudanese border to witness the magnificence of Abu Simbel......driving under the Suez Canal.......climbing... (more)Julie Henry
From £949 excluding flights
Patagonia overland tour, Villarica
Memorable parts? Seeing the Moreno glacier and hiking in Torres del Paine. Tips? Make sure you have appropriate footwear (hiking boots). There is no need to bring a sleeping bag as these can be hired at the time (and they are good sleeping bags). Local benefits? The only benefit to local people would be the custom of staying in hotels/eating in restaurants. We did make a conscious effort not to leave rubbish and I suppose 30+ people using 1 bus instead of various means of... (more)Frank Sperling

Pinasca accommodation, Piedmont, Italy
Gosh, difficult to say which part out of so many! I am reviewing the holiday five months later and still remember everything about our stay here. The delicious food and warm hospitality from the hosts, the beautiful scenery and the long walks will stay with me forever, I think. (more)Bill Reid
The kindness of our hosts, the nice balanced way they shared and included us in their individual enthusiasm and warmth, the pertinent information about local and Piemonte region, without coming too close were most memorable. Excellent holiday. (more)Anna Welsing
Whilst we have many very happy memories of our recent 5 weeks in Europe all involved voted that the week was 'the' most memorable. This was primarily a result of the passion that both Marla and Fabrizio bring to the running of the accommodation and to ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Of course this professionalism is ably supported by the fantastic scenery and interesting history of the area. (more)Neal Dalgliesh

The most memorable part of the holiday was climbing the steps by donkey at Petra and the night spent at Wadi Rum in the desert. (more)Kate Askew

Driving through a Wadi with water flowing through it. Driving the sand dunes in the desert. The mountain scenery is great. (more)Adrian O Malley
The most memorable part was the surprise at arriving at the camp in the Wahiba Sands for our night of Wild Camping and instead of finding the little 2-man tent that we had expected we found a luxury tent complete with bathroom, proper beds, carpets, oriental cushions and lanterns which had been set up just for us. (more)Sally Frohlich
Driving down to Wadi Bani Awf. Awesome. Also the night in the desert where the operator found us a camp where we were completely alone, 8 km through the dunes from the main camp, itself small and remoter than the bigger camps. (more)Peta Constable

Bolivia adventure holiday
Memorable parts? Visiting the salt flats - they were beautiful, and totally original. A real experience! Tips? Insist that your tour leader comes with you on the 3 day tour of the Uyuni 4x4 tour - the drivers are completely irresponsible (drinking beer at breakfast, driving dangerously, driving the vehicles when they are not roadworthy), and rude (not listening to the group's concerns regarding the above, and threatening to leave people stranded in the middle of the tour), that it... Memorable parts? The scenery was just fantastic, and I really enjoyed being with the huskies. The whole experience was like nothing I've ever done before. Tips? Memorable parts? We travelled a great distance, saw tons of great scenery and was able to do a variety of activities so I can't really say that one thing stands out however Dawson City (both times) was great. Tips? Bring a bug hat/jacket and some good bug spray. Bring a variety of warm clothes (e.g. mitts, wool hat...) even in the summer months - you never know what the temperature will be like. Sardinia trekking holiday, Italy
Memorable parts? I would say the most exciting points were arriving at the agritourism each night and realising that we'd walked such a long way. The view from the highest point was fantastic and with air so pure we could see for miles. Scenery was stunning as was the variety of vegetation and rock formations. I would also add that the food was excellent and the agritourism make a big effort to use locally sourced produce and to cook typical dishes. Tips? I would definitely recommend...
