It was a privilege to be involved in the wild dog rescue at Thanda Reserve when a poacher's snare was caught around her neck. Seeing the biggest tuskers when at Tembe was another highlight and identifying them was great fun. 
(more)Most memorable was standing on the bow of the ms expedition, all by myself, freezing cold, cruising down the Lemaire channel, surrounded by icebergs... Out of this world.
(more)The highlight for me was definitely the snorkeling, especially when there were sea lions about. I never thought I would be so enthusiastic about swimming with sharks! Walking up Table Mountain, and private tour of the Cape were the highlights in Cape Town. Route 62 was well worth it, garden route was such a pleasure to drive. Excellent.

(more)Romania is a beautiful spectacular country, so from the moment I was travelling from Bucharest to Brasov I knew that I had come to a really excellent destination. I was very impressed by the people who run the sanctuary on a daily basis particularly Laci & Emi and Mateusz our driver!
