The silence of the forest and just being in such pristine nature. The forest itself was overwhelming. My huge congratulations for preserving it. The guided visit to the restricted area of the forest was my personal highlight.
If you go in winter, dress properly and you will be fine. If you are after wolves, be realistic, it is not easy to spot them.
Bring a good binocular, lots to see but often from a distance.

To made more than 30 kilometres surveyed in a deep snow following lynx, wolf and bears in a complete wild mountains.
To sense a wild nature, tracking along the mountains with snow shoes where nobody runs and take the exciting moments when your are following a fresh track of bear or lynx.

From the moment we arrived in Churchill until we left!
We saw a polar bear being released from the holding facility and flown off back to the wild, mothers and cubs, young bears 'play-boxing, a large male bear falling through the thin ice and the Northern Lights.
All the staff were fantastic, particularly our wonderful free-spirited guide Leah Okin Magowan. It could not have been better!!
