Memorable parts? There were lots of memorable aspects but the two things that stand out were the varied mixture of activities in the programme, and the cohesion of the group and tutors alike. Excellent. A great set up - the family open their home up to everyone and give you the chance to be part of their rural existence in splendid isolation. Memorable parts? Discovering an authentic and undiscovered part of Portugal. The combination of Yoga and acupuncture treatments was extremely beneficial and unique and the hosts were caring and thoughtful. The food was fantastic, fresh and plentiful. Even though we were in a group context, everyone's individual needs were attended to in a very subtle way so we all felt very relaxed. Tips? Memorable parts? There was no one memorable moment - the yoga, meditation and life coaching experienced over the week all combined to produce a wonderful feeling of positivity and grounding. Tips? Attend the life coaching sessions even if you've not experienced them before as they provide some very useful tools to approach aspects of your life from different perspectives. Local benefits? This was my first visit to Egypt and the holiday was a great introduction to Dahab and diving in the region. The diving was amazing. Memorable parts? The restorative, meditative yoga practice gave a note of mindfullness to all activities. A well-balanced program, peaceful and still interesting and lovely. And our kind hosts did everything to make us feel at home. Tips? Don't plan a diet while there! Local benefits? Memorable parts? Best parts for me were as follows: 1. The food - Warren and Jo are top chefs and we had great food all week. Children's meals are at 6pm but flexible. Having said that, I would say that €8 for a packed lunch was a bit expensive. If you are planning to have a packed lunch because you are out all day, would recommend that you take a trip to the supermarket or get a baguette from town. 2. Memorable parts? The whole holiday was memorable, the place itself was beautiful overlooking the sea and surrounding countryside. It was really getting away from it all. Sintra is a must to visit, although be careful if eating or drinking there it is expensive. Tips? Take walking type shoes as well a flip flops. Local benefits? The yoga lessons given by Mona at Relax Bay Koh Lanta There is that nice guy, Ben Cortell who organizes the travel with his mother Val, they are nice honest decent people, that were fun to work with. It was my first yoga holiday and I loved every minute of it. The yoga classes were really well thought in advance and used different types of styles.
