I am reborn! Simply the best holiday I have ever been on
Some great stories to tell the grandchildren. Would recommend to a friend
The guides were excellent - organised, knowledgeable and above all fun. We spent three weeks laughing. Their willingness to share their knowledge of Africa and stories told around the campfires made the areas we visited come alive. (more)Kay Emblen-Perry
Best bits: There were so many memorable moments it's hard to pick just one: walking up Dune 45 early in the morning, watching the animals at the water holes in Etosha, staying in a tree house!
We had fantastic animals encounters in several places including Mosi oa Tunya, Mahango, Etosha and Chobe. The walking safari in Mosi oa Tunya was very special, we got great views of giraffe and white rhinos on foot. The landscape and animals at Etosha are just breath taking, we saw lions there and many other animals and birds. (more)Richard Stansfield
The most memorable part was when we were driving up a rocky dry river to see white rhinos and when they smelled/heard us and started coming towards us, realized they could be a lot faster than us on this terrain. (more)Sven Jeanrenaud
The most exciting was the gorge swing & white river rafting in Victoria Falls as well as the night game drives following lions stalking prey in the Okavango. (more)Jean Pierre Kruger
Botswana was the best. We want to go back today!! One of the most memorable moments is arriving in our first camp, and barely two hours later, sitting on a Land Rover just meters from a male lion, and nothing between him and us! Just amazing! (more)Dirk Bettels
Do it! Money well spent... (more)Katrin Nyman Metcalf
A bit of background: we contacted the holiday provider about a Tanzania holiday and then, as we emailed back and forth, we came up with a cunning plan to go to Zambia (our daughter and son-in-law had recommended it as a less-touristy
country in Africa), first to Nkwali in S Luangwa National Park, and then to Tongabezi near Livingstone. Memorable moments: The first was seeing leopards in S Luangwa National Park -- I'd seen one before, lolling in a tree. My OH had
seen none.... (more)Louise Race
We loved it! The staff was so knowledgeable and we enjoyed the participation aspect of the trip. The people we met were great and it was really a bonus to meet people from all over the world. (more)Kelly Towle
In all respects it exceeded our expectations - I cannot imagine a better holiday. (more)Chaz Seymour
All days and trip were memorable, but above all watching elephants crossing the river 30 metres away from us having lunch in Old Mondoro was the most. We are definitely satisfied. (more)Vincenzo Bracciale
I can't wait to return to Africa with these operators. It is a unique and special way to see a country and feel the local vibe. Extensive overland travel gives more than a taste of the local culture and enables one to experience a very different way of life than we are used to in the western world. (more)Honey Bernstein
It was all pretty memorable - for positive reasons! Well organised, excellent guide - and the group of us gelled well. (more)Rachel Balen
Botswana is a fantastic country and we had a brilliant guide who was happy to share his knowledge about the different countries, animals and places we travelled through. (more)Anna Downie
Being looked after by people that really care about the habitat and the wildlife within, who were happy to part their knowledge so that you got the most out of your trip, learning new skills in tracking wildlife and reading the bush and how the weather and time of the day effects all around you.
Did enjoy the bush senses test !
Seeing more smaller and nocturnal animals, which were just as interesting as the big 5.
Go with an open mind and you will learn new... (more)steve Harris
Flying over Victoria falls on a microlite. This is a paid extra but worth every penny.
1)Mid-day cruise on the Zambezi at Livingstone waterfront passes along beside the game reserve. We got our best shots of hippos and elephants on this cruise.
2)You've spent a lot of money to get here. So you probably cant afford to do every extra. But if you get the chance to do something you really want to do, DO IT. We flew over Vic Falls on a Microlite. Not cheap but it... (more)Richard Paradine
I can't really say that I have returned relaxed and refresh... was really tired (in the last days did abseil, rafting, micro light, travelled for 36 hours,..) but really enjoyed it!
Saw a lion on a tree, the lake with hippos in new year, the new friends.
Be prepared for the rain (yes, it rains in Africa) and for long hours on the truck.
We didn't have too much contact with local people since we stayed in private camping, but I think... (more)Carla Almeida
