A family-run business based in Edwinstowe, in the heart of Robin Hood country, Sherwood Forest Photographic Tours has some of Britain's most beautiful scenery right on its doorstep. Whether you love landscape, wildlife or architectural photography, the possibilities are endless.
Offering an informal, yet professional, approach Sherwood Forest Photographic Tours limits groups to six people per week to ensure that everybody receives the information, guidance and training they require. Living locally, the team is able to source the finest accommodation, and food from surrounding restaurants, as well as free transport during the week and hot and cold refreshments throughout each day, including a picnic lunch while on location.

Economic responsibility
- promoting greater appreciation for the forest and the area that surrounds it.
- providing our guests with locally sourced produce, accommodation and entertainment.
- Helping the village and the legends survive.
Environmental responsibility
- We actively encourage people to leave their cars at home and travel to the tours by public transport.
- When we arrive at each location we brief our guest on aspects of the environment that need particular attention and consideration ensuring we cause zero damage to the local wildlife or landscape.
- During the tours all refreshments and food are provided and all waste is carefully gathered and returned for re-cycling.
Social responsibility
- In order to appreciate the scene or the subject the photographer must first empathise with it to truly capture and emote the subject clearly.
- Photography prompts our guests to think about their own local environment and the people.
- A picture speaks a thousand words and when used in the right way and carried by the correct media we can reach many more people.
