Situated alongside the Whanganui River in the lower Northwest of New Zealands North Island, we offer accommodation in two self-contained fully equipped cottages, or a secluded camping area. Surrounded by the native forest clad hills of the Whanganui National Park, access is by boat or aerial cableway. Our self-contained cottages are an eclectic mix of styles combining locally sourced recycled building materials with low impact energy solutions, to provide a place for guests to escape the stresses of modern life. Our own organic gardens and orchards, together with other local producers supply many of the ingredients for our slow food style of catering, if guests prefer not to self-cater.
