Creating employment opportunities in the areas untouched by tourism we intend to outsource aspects of operations to local communities based on feasibility and strategic considerations. As economic activity increases in these communities, the average household will increasingly benefit from such a move. Transport services are one such operation currently being outsourced.
We are constantly investing in initiatives to improve, waste management, emission and energy use as well as being committed to protecting natural resources. Over the years we have achieved this in a number of ways, though we are always looking to improve and our policy will always be a work in progress. We are all committed to reducing our impact on the environment through numerous office policies including recycling policies and water and energy reduction policies, which focus on how we use paper, lighting, temperature control and electrical appliances.
We also create awareness of Maldives locally manufactured souvenir and encourage our visitors to purchase such products and avoid polythene products and related products. As an inbound tour operator we also continuously talk to our partner resorts chefs to integrate both local ingredients and traditional cooking techniques into its menus which would apparently result guest try several local delicacies , popular Maldivian breakfast , a mix of tuna , chili , onions, lime and grated coconuts served with roti style bread.
