The whole 2 weeks in Rajasthan, Delhi and Amritsar were magical. The Taj Mahal and Golden Temple more than exceeded my expectations. The memories of the wonderful people, noises, colours and smells will be with me for many years.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Beware of the heat there was a heat wave in April, up to 45 degrees!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes in most parts.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent

Hi Sarah, Thank you so much for taking your time to post such a lovely review of your recent trip to India with us for your wedding anniversary. I hope it was very special and I am so pleased you loved every single bit of it, taking in India's incredible atmosphere. It does get fairly hot there from April onwards, approaching the monsoon, but I am happy this hasn't affected your adventures and your trip went smoothly. I will be delighted to help you discover other India's regions that are just as beautiful so please do get in touch if and when you decide to travel with us again Sarah! Warm regards, Kate

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing the amazing variety of birds and animals, including watching two brother tigers basking and drinking in the sun, at Bhandighar national park.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Apparently you can now only officially change currency once a week in India. We were told this during our last currency exchange at a hotel. Our previous hotels had changed our money but had initially seemed reluctant.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Our visit to the nature reserve helped support the work that they do and I will be making a further donation.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Amazing. The organisation of it all was brilliant both from the UK and the Indian agents involved.

Hi Caitlin, Thank you so much for such a great review for your Indian adventures with us, I am so pleased both you and Charlotte loved your trip and have been lucky to spot the elusive tigers as well! It's great that you also feel you have supported local community and conservation projects while visiting the National Park and how sweet of you to be supporting the amazing job they are doing even further. I am very happy that you felt your trip was very well organised on both sides, and that our local partners were efficient and helpful and everything ran smoothly while you were travelling. I hope there will be many more memorable adventures that we would be helping you plan in the future Caitlin and will look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to start planning the next one. Best wishes, Kate

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing tigers (close-up!) in Rathambore

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Come with an open mind and leave your perceptions of normality behind. Indian drivers need a Good Horn, Good Brakes & Good Luck. Occasionally not for the faint hearted.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Certainly put lots of money into the local economy. Will it waterfall down to the extent it lefts the many below the poverty line, i doubt it makes much difference.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Magical. The advertising gets it right "Incredible India". We had a driver that took great care of us to drive as safe as the conditions allowed, acted as guide when he could and was certainly trustworthy. Our daily guides were knowledgeable, had interesting tales to tell and informative when our own curiosity needed that little bit extra.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing the Taj Mahal

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be prepared and read reviews, you need to have your wits about you and know what to expect from every aspect of a trip to India. Follow the basic health tips such as bottled water, no ice and stay away from meat.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We visited some charity projects which support those somewhat overlooked in Indian culture so I hope this is of some benefit. I can't think of anyway that I have reduced environmental impact or supported conservation though.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was excellent, extremely well organised - it was an adventure not a holiday!
