I hesitate to write this review for selfish reasons. Why? Because this holiday is so wonderful I'd rather keep it a secret! Situated on the southern slopes of Mt Batakaru in remotest Bali, this place is a pocket of paradise, far removed from the ravages of the 21st century. Having spent a week there I did not want to leave.

The most memorable part of our trip was most likely the scenery we loved the mountains and woodlands. The next was the food as Nick is no doubt an excellent chef and Dasha a specialist with deserts. (more)
This was our second visit to The Cotswolds (last over 4 years ago) and we were charmed anew. Too often our holiday experience has been such we're ready to return home after a few days, but on this occasion a week passed quickly, happily, relatively comfortably.

We stayed at the house for 4 nights with our teenage boys and we were so happy we did. Corinne and Benoit make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive...It was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks in France! Benoit does great excursions so highly recommend you go on his tours too!

B&B was excellent with very comfortable accommodation, great food, wonderful Highland stoneware crockery (a personal favourite) and fantastic facilities. (more)
The highlights were the warm welcome, wonderful cream tea on arrival. Very child friendly - Rose went out of her way to find books and puzzles for the children to play with. (more)
The hospitality shown by the hosts Rebecca and Andy, who welcome you warmly into their home were the most memorable part. The meals were fabulous and the packed lunches the best yet. Excellent, we will be recommending it to friends. (more)

The location is perfect for sightseeing in Sintra, cliff walking, forest trails, beach visits, day trip to Lisbon or Cascais, good and reasonable eating options...the perfect cocktail of good accommodation , helpful hosts, location, scenic walking, sightseeing and food. (more)

The time I spent at the agriturismo was excellent. The hosts were excellent with plenty of information about the area. Our stay benefitted the very small local community and the local farmers and crafts people. (more)

The first sight of the view from the balcony was amazing - and it just carried on being great. Walking up the peak was also great - we saw ibex! Fabulous! Relaxing, interesting and inspiring. We want to come back and will recommend it to everyone we know! (more)
Imlil was absolutely breathtaking, everywhere you looked was stunning, the accommodation, scenery, mountains, people were all incredible. We arrived on a very cold afternoon, by evening snow was falling and by morning there was 4 inches of snow! (more)
Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it. (more)
