I hesitate to write this review for selfish reasons. Why? Because this holiday is so wonderful I'd rather keep it a secret! Situated on the southern slopes of Mt Batakaru in remotest Bali, this place is a pocket of paradise, far removed from the ravages of the 21st century. Having spent a week there I did not want to leave.

Marks out of 10 - 10! Really enjoyed the set up of the cabin, very thoughtfully done with lots of information, loads of smashing little touches (loved the walkie talkies!) & fresh baked muffins as a welcome did it for me. The location was exquisite.

Wonderful guides, incredible access to the remotest regions and real people... Wonderful - genuinely the holiday of a lifetime and a never to be forgotten special experience.

The most memorable part of our trip was most likely the scenery we loved the mountains and woodlands. The next was the food as Nick is no doubt an excellent chef and Dasha a specialist with deserts.

Excellent experience, especially for the children. A great tour to get an idea of different ways of life in Morocco, from rural villages to big cities.

We were immersed in this really poor country, with the hint of past traumatic occupation and wars, and received the most generous opening of hearts from this 80% buddhist country.

The highlight of my trip was the Jalore Wildlife Sanctuary. I was welcome by the owners of the land and taken around on night safaris by the son Ravindra.

Never having used this operator or Resonsible Trvel before, we were not sure what to expect - but now we would heartily recommend both as being first class!

My husband, my daughter and I all had a wonderful time. It was really good for my daughter in particular to visit an Islamic country. (She has Muslim schoolfriends.) Hearing French spoken also helped her to realise that there are real advantages in learning to speak another language.

The most memorable part of the trip was without doubt the mountain trek on the mules -the scenery was fantastic and our 2 boys had a most wonderful time with their donkeys and their guides who resembled Jawa's from star wars which is every boy's fantasy!

Had the most amazing time and am finding too hard to get back to real work and the real world! Hmm probably the best holiday since having children - absolutely fantastic mix that allowed us to experience culture, etc without children being in any way bored.

A brilliant holiday which both the adults and children thoroughly enjoyed. A well organised tour, helped by a good guide and a good group of families from which we have all made some new friends.

A hike in the jungle with a local guide from the aboriginal people was the most memorable part of the holiday

If there exists a heaven on earth, I guess this should be the place - you really can reach the sky (if you are sitting on horse-back of course) and you have a circular (360 degree) view over 100 kms wide.
