Most memorable? The welcome and then the peace and quite. Very few cars lots of butterflies and birds. (more) |

We loved being surrounded by historic French villages; staying in a beautiful rustic (but VERY comfortable) 19th century stone cottage; the warmth and approachability of our hosts Nicole and Alex Crawford; and being spoilt for choice when arranging our daily activities. (more) |

The pre dinner drinks and craic (good conversation) and the dinners cooked by Debbie and Mark were always something to look forward especially when the legs were tiring and the backside a little sore! (more) |

Most memorable were the great cycling and the choice of chateaux, restaurants, wine-tasting, etc we had in very good cycling weather. Good that cycling on French roads turned out to be easy, although there were not always cycle paths. (more) |
