Our guide helped us organise a cycle rickshaw ride in Varanasi in the evening. Sharing the road with buses, lorries, cows, pedestrians, autorickshaws and all manner of humanity was insane but the best way to get a feel of an Indian city  (more)

The excitement of seeing Tigers in the wild, was wonderful, we did not expect to be able to get as close as we did on the elephant, and each sighting was as exciting as the last... we were only yards away from a male Tiger and its Sambur kill. (more)

All visits to Rajastani palaces, forts and havelis were a fantastic experience, especially since the city guides were really good and very excited to tell us all about it. The Taj Mahal is certainly a highlight, but my top experience was visiting the living and breathing city within the walls of Jaisalmer fort. (more)
