Being on stomboli while the volcano rumbled and spat - being so close to lava fountains was the most memorable part. (more) |

Most memorable was climbing the cape of the 'Santuario' near the hotel, and having a breathtaking view of the Eolian islands and the entire Milazzo peninsula with its magnificent beach and castle in the background. (more) |

The rooms are quite lovely, only surpassed by the views of the sea and the Madonie Mountains. I also had the pleasure of visiting a shepherd making cheese on a hillside and of visiting the local Santa Anastasia Winery, where they give an outstanding tour. (more) |
