Most memorable? As I can’t swim it has to be floating in the Dead Sea. It was an unbelievable experience. I did not believe I would be able to as I did not think it would work if you cant relax to float but the sea just lifted me up and held me in the water. (more) |

We rode out of the desert on camel back at dawn and came upon a scene of biblical proportions: in the purple brown haze of new light, thousands of camels, silhouetted in silver, were etched across the fields and slopes beyond the holy city. (more) |

Thought I'd let you know we have just returned from one of our best holidays ever... Everything was a highlight, especially the three nights in the desert where we slept under the stars and joined in with the bedouin music and songs. (more) |

The most memorable part of the holiday was spotting the leopard. We would have missed it & driven on, but the leaders saw it & we went back. We had to be patient because the leopard hid in a culvert, but eventually came out. (more) |

Visiting 5 World Heritage Sites in Libya with virtually no other tourists anywhere in sight was the hightlight. Also sleeping wild in the sand dunes of the Sahara. (more) |

The most memorable part was, as always, sleeping under the stars in the desert. A close second was the opportunity (because there were just three of us, all female, staying in the oasis) to talk, as far as language permitted, with the Bedouin women. (more) |

Most memorable were walking to the top of the dunes, having the only set of footprints the whole way and surveying the vast view... Running up a dune in the dark and sitting on the top looking at the stars. (more) |

Most memorable moments were scuba diving the beautifully unspoiled reefs of Ras Abu Galum, stargazing at night while sipping Bedouin tea, loving the wonderful camels and letting your mind remain silent while taking in the beautifully stark and wild scenery of South Sinai. (more) |

Uyuni Salt Flats as it was amazing and of course Machu Pichu... despite climbing and barely seeing it from the Sun Gate, the clouds eventually lifted. I also loved the town of Cuzco and Punta Sal in Peru. (more) |

Climbing Mt Sinai in the very early morning to watch a spectacular sunrise, relaxing on the sun deck of our Nile cruise boat, visiting awe-inspiring tombs in the Valley of the Kings, and at the end of the holiday relaxing by the pool in Dahab and treating myself to a fantastic and much needed massage!
