Without doubt, the 2 day husky safari, when we stayed overnight in a wilderness cabin, overlooking a frozen lake. The dogs were wonderful, and the fact that we had real hands on experience with them made it all the more exciting. Nothing can beat travelling across a frozen lake, pulled by your own team of dogs. The countryside around Dalyan is beautiful, lush and green, and we would never have seen and experienced the local habitat without our guides. Each activity gave us a new slant...the canyoning was exhilarating; the cycling allowed us to see the wider area and find a magical restaurant; the kayaking took us to the mud baths and the rafting was great fun... The Pembrokeshire coast is awesome and there can't be a better way of exploring it than in a kayak with a small like minded group. Highlights were scooting through natural arches, exploring caves... spotting a seal swimming around us and catching some surf on the way into shore. (more) |

Staying in Chitwan National Park, going on the elephant back safaris and being a part of the elephant bathing there were definitely highlights of the trip. Seeing the rhinos, crocodile and monkeys were a lot of fun, and so was seeing Mt. Everest. (more) |

The boys loved cayonning - jumping off of cayons into pools; I loved horse riding American style through the mountains - it was fantastic & Liz was a terrific guide. We also climbed up to some glacial lakes with Mel - which was an incredible experience. (more) |
