Most memorable were walking to the top of the dunes, having the only set of footprints the whole way and surveying the vast view... Running up a dune in the dark and sitting on the top looking at the stars. (more) |

All of it was memorable starting with driving up to the beautiful location, being welcomed by host Jos, who was incredibly kind and helpful, relaxing in the palms overlooking the water, and taking the interesting side trips that Jos set up for me.

When we got to the Berber/Nomad tent it was out of this world, I can’t put into words what I thought - it was just amazing. After dinner I went and sat on a dune and it was stunning, the amount of stars I could see in the sky was unbelievable. (more) |
