The most memorable part of our holiday was arriving at the farm and find the perfect little cottage waiting for us with a wonderful cream tea, flowers and a cosy woodstove alight, after a 6-hour drive. (more)
From £248 - £695 per cottage per week (sleeps 4-6)
The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out. (more)
From £216 - £300 per cottage 2-3 nights (sleeps 3)
Excellent - one of the best self-catering places we've stayed at. Would be very happy to go back there.  (more)
From £231 - £372 per cottage for 2-3 nights (sleeps 4-5)
Excellent for walks, great hosts, beautiful views and peacefulness.  (more)
From £28 - £33 per person per night
The view from the house was outstanding, seeing it every day was even better. It must have been the best view from a holiday cottage I have ever seen! I will always remember it. (more)
From £250 - £350 per week (sleeps 4-5)
Most memorable was climbing the cape of the 'Santuario' near the hotel, and having a breathtaking view of the Eolian islands and the entire Milazzo peninsula with its magnificent beach and castle in the background. (more)
From €70 - €120 per double room per night
We found it all memorable this was the first time we had booked an eco-lodge so that was a really positive experience set in beautiful woodlands. We were met by Ian and some 'yummy' homemade scones made by his lovely wife Maggie, which went down very well after our long journey. (more)
From £190 - £470 per lodge or cottage per week (sleeps 4-8)
Excellent - one of the few places we would definitely hope to go back to. If you want a get away from it all holiday with opportunities to engage with nature and escape the rat-race it would be hard to find anywhere better.  (more)
From £495 - £790 per week (sleeps 6)
Our hosts Simon and Fiona advised us as amateur birdwatchers to visit a local site. The visit proved successful when we saw a golden eagle - a first for us, and also a herd of wild deer. (more)
From £30 - £35 per person per night
Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it. (more)
From €29 per person per night
The kitchen in the cottage was amazing, we had dinner there one night but would be more than happy to go back with lots of local produce and cook if we had been staying for longer. (more)
From £50 - £100 per room/accommodation per night (sleeps 2-4)
The whole experience was so memorable, cannot remember the last time I really did not want to come home from a holiday. For my daughter, being able to join in caring for the horses was the best bit.  (more)
From £25 - £49 per person per night
It was really nice to feel, just for a minute, that we were part of an organic farm, as this is my dream. We had a small glimpse into the hard work but satisfying life of organic farming. (more)
From £50 per room per night B&B & £250 per week self catering (sleeps 4)
Most memorable was the beautiful surrounding area, from the site to wherever we went. (more)
From £80 - £150 per night per cabin (sleeps 3-6)
Most memorable were the looks on the children's faces as they realised were staying in a log cabin! Also the sense of achievement, climbing the Eiffel Tower. (more)
From €79 - €115 per accommodation (sleeps 4-6)
The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.  (more)
From £190 - £600 per cottage per week (sleeps 4-6)
