The most memorable part of our holiday was arriving at the farm and find the perfect little cottage waiting for us with a wonderful cream tea, flowers and a cosy woodstove alight, after a 6-hour drive. (more)
From £248 - £695 per cottage per week (sleeps 4-6)
We stayed in a wonderful traditional cottage with pool, found some beautiful beaches, visited quaint villages, saw awesome gorges, browsed the labyrinthine streets of Hania and ate some wonderful food (more)
From £585 per person per week (sleeps 2-4) inc UK flights
The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out. (more)
From £216 - £300 per cottage 2-3 nights (sleeps 3)
Perfect - the best week's holiday we've ever had. The accommodation was very comfortable, the surroundings were idyllic, and the views breathtaking. Very peaceful and relaxing, with lovely outside eating areas, a hammock and a pool.  (more)
From €77 - €230 per aptmt/house per night (sleeps 2-8)
Excellent. There is something quite magical about the site. Not sure if it is the caravans, the scenery, or Perry and Collene. Either way, we came away refreshed, and for the first time ever, we are really considering going back rather than continually finding new places to visit. (more)
From €74 for 2 people per night (sleeps 2-4)
Prepare to be completely chilled out. The accommodation caters for total rehabilitation, away from the stresses and strains of modern life. The drive up into the mountains is breath-taking. (more)
From £325 - £695 per cottage per week (sleeps 2-4)
Excellent - one of the best self-catering places we've stayed at. Would be very happy to go back there.  (more)
From £231 - £372 per cottage for 2-3 nights (sleeps 4-5)
It was an excellent retreat, and exactly what I was looking for: a small, warm, friendly place, far from the big city life. (more)
From €180 - €350 per cottage per week (sleeps <6)
We enjoyed every part of our holiday. The food was exceptional and the hotel could not be faulted in any way. We had two fantastic days out with Peter Jones a local bird expert who showed us all the wonderful birds and wildlife in the area.  (more)
From €80 - €115 per double room per night
The bedroom we chose was magic and I'll never forget going down the escarpment garden to the cliff walk at the bottom - that was brilliant. This accommodation completely excelled itself with the hamper and goodies that were provided. (more)
From AU $73 per person per night
Androula, our host, was so lovely, welcoming & helpful on where to go and what to see - as well as being a wonderful cook - supplying us constantly with fresh fruit from her garden & freshly made jam for our breakfast! (more)
From €75 - €130 per apartment (sleeps <6) per night
The view from the house was outstanding, seeing it every day was even better. It must have been the best view from a holiday cottage I have ever seen! I will always remember it. (more)
From £250 - £350 per week (sleeps 4-5)
We had a wonderful honeymoon. The best bit was staying in this accommodation - because we interacted with local people and we were in self-catering accommodation, so we didn't feel locked into buying expensive restaurant and hotel food.  (more)
From £95 - £210 per accommodation per night (sleep 2-8)
The journeys we made to different towns and villages in the region were always exciting; even the smallest community had something special: a castle, an ancient fort, a sacred work of art, to see. The mountains were extraordinarily beautiful and wild; we loved our walks in the Furlo Gorge and the Gorge of the Hermitage. (more)
B&B €55 per person per night HB €84 per person per night
We had the most wonderful holiday; there were lots of hugely memorable moments. Arriving at the hotel was pretty good: it was in pristine condition, the staff were very friendly and there were lots of glorious flowers. (more)
From €49 - €109 per double per night
Seriously, can all holidays be like this? Beautiful apartment, brilliant pool, stunning scenery, generous hosts and a stack of awesome beaches, restaurants and castles in easy reach.  (more)
From €73 per night for the one bedroom guesthouse (sleeps 2-6)
The holiday was exceptional. The hosts are incredibly generous and knowledgeable about the local area. The farm has a very relaxing, and tranquil atmosphere. The farm itself is in a stunning location in the mountains with a view for many kms into the valley. (more)
From £395 - £2690 per week ex flights (sleeps 2-14)
The fairy-tale cabin, forest and very own lake, the walks and bike rides on a crystal clear, lake (and cow) dotted hilly landscape and charming little villages, feeding our lake tame carps (cuter than Nemo!)... were the most memorable parts. (more)
From €325 per week (sleeps 2)
We found it all memorable this was the first time we had booked an eco-lodge so that was a really positive experience set in beautiful woodlands. We were met by Ian and some 'yummy' homemade scones made by his lovely wife Maggie, which went down very well after our long journey. (more)
From £190 - £470 per lodge or cottage per week (sleeps 4-8)
Excellent - one of the few places we would definitely hope to go back to. If you want a get away from it all holiday with opportunities to engage with nature and escape the rat-race it would be hard to find anywhere better.  (more)
From £495 - £790 per week (sleeps 6)
