We will never forget sitting on the safari vehicle at one o'clock in the morning under a full moon just listening to the sounds of the bush. ("People make noise, nature makes sounds," was one of the things he said to us. How true.) (more) |

I would highly recommend this holiday. We learned a lot, we made a small positive difference on the reserve (the best result you can get in the short time of 2 weeks) and we had fun. The trip is good value for money - visits to other reserves are included in the price and everything is organised for you. (more) |

The Reptile Park in South Africa was great! It's all hands on and the people are very nice. The most memorable and exciting part of the holiday was actually getting to handle the reptiles, definitely the Venomous Snakes, such as the Snouted Cobra. (more) |

One special moment I shall remember is the magnificent braai organised in Scotia Park after a days game watching. The personal attention of the ranger, the quality and quantity of the food, the free bar, the kindness, the gentle music played around the campfire and the intimacy of the environment made this braai an unforgettable high. There were many moments, but if i had to choose it was whilst driving through Kruger Park a group of five elephants crossed the road, we stopped the car and waited for them to pass. The last elephant before crossing altogether raised its trunk at us as a sign of thank you for letting them cross. It was fantastic. (more) |
