1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Driving through wonderful Umbrian landscapes and exploring medieval, hilltop villages. Pietralunga was centrally located within easy distances to some stunning areas and lots of historic sites.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
A GPS (we had a Tom Tom) is a sensible and helpful device in this area of confusing roads and alternative routes.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We visited local craft and areas of interest and bought their produce. The hotel in which we stayed used local and seasonal produce for all the meals.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A fabulous introduction to Umbria. Really want to re visit the area in the future.

It was very clear that protecting the environment was very much part of the ethos at the accommodation, with clear notices in every room reminding clients of what they should do to play their part.

I had an excellent time. Manuele and Simone were extremely attentive and helpful and took a genuine interest in making sure that I had the best possible experience while staying at the accommodation
