1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The summit, with the climb up under a crystal clear sky with an amazing view of the night sky full of bright stars and shooting stars, followed by a gorgeous sunrise visible from the peak. That night we stayed in a campsite tucked away in almost a rainforest īlike setting.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be sure to remember to put your sleeping bag in a trash bag, or water proof bag. We forgot this one, but luckily the rain cover on our packs kept the bags dry. Also trekkers may want to consider staying in a tent in Shipton's camp. Some noisy trekkers and those rising early to reach the summit, can make it hard to get a good nights sleep. Especially on the day you are going for the peak.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent! I would use this operator and Responsible Travel again.

I really enjoyed climbing Mt Kenya. The day was perfect, and the scramble to the
summit a bit different to other mountains I have climbed.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take some clothes or equipment you no longer need, and leave them behind.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I thought the trip was rally well balanced- it was good for me, but it was also
good for the local economy and the people who helped me along the way.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Overall, it was a good blend of experience and adventure. I am glad I did it,
but also glad to be home.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We managed to summit Mt Kenya and the views from the top were absolutely awesome!! The National Park is surely hikers paradise. Secondly we enjoyed the safari in the Masai Mara, managed to see massive amount of wildlife. Guess that the lion cubs must have been the best.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
For the mountain climb you can't go without a warm sleeping bag, be ready for artic temperatures...
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
The tour food purchases where made locally, benefiting the individual and local enterprises. In the parks we stayed on exciting tracks and paths. Also contributions where made to a local school. Yes I think the operator does its best to look after our planet and the local community.
