1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Visiting the smaller islands of Sark and Herm. Not only was the scenery fabulous but the weather was kind!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Ensure you understand why the people surrounding the walking holiday split the daily distance as they do - i.e fewer daily miles mean more difficult walking. Given the vagaries of the British Summer be prepared for everything - sun blocker and waterproofs !

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes used public transport whenever possible - very convenient bus service in Guernsey. We eat out a few times and used local cafes and bars during the walks. We also purchased locally produced items to bring back - e.g. Guernsey Sweaters.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Very good - hotel was very good for a 2 star, food in hotel very good and reasonable price for dinner in bar (more expensive outside), staff very good attentive and friendly. Taxi company willing to pick us up at end point of daily walk earlier than scheduled.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The day trip to Herm, the beaches were beautiful and the weather was great for an easy walk round the island.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

In October and early November the islands have a 'Tennerfest': where participating restaurants offer 3 course menus at £10. This makes it very reasonable to eat out and the food is excellent quality.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The holiday uses a local taxi firm and hotel but otherwise it was not particularly environmentally friendly.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Very enjoyable, locals were very friendly. The hotel room was rather small and noisy from the road outside.
