1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Sitting on Temple 4 in Tikal watching the sun rise. (Tony)(sunrise was optional - Tikal was part of the tour)
The ATM cave trip - (which was optional) (Fran)

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you have a small inflatable sleeping mat take it for the canoe trip - the little sleeping bags provided were fine but the inflatable sleeping mats didn't stay inflated. An inflatable pillow is also a good idea. Be prepared that some hotels do not seem to have hot water - weather was warm - not a big issue.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was excellent - well informed and enjoyable tour leader/guide - connected us with interesting and knowledgeable local guides and provided good orientation to the different localities and activities. Good mix of activities - we were fortunate to have a very experienced and personable guide. Reasonable pace. The mix of people also worked well together.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

It was probably visiting ATM cave in Belize which was a great experience, and also snorkelling with nurse sharks and sting rays in Caye Caulker was incredible too.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

I would say be prepared for 3 days of canoeing - its quite hard work, especially on hot sunny days! Bring plenty of sun cream and a good hat!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes, we did support the local people somewhat, such as the local guides and using accommodation run by local people.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was excellent, the tour leader was great and we were busy all the time with little time off from amazing activities such as hiking, snorkelling, caving and canoeing! Highly recommended for nature lovers for the amazing Belizian forests and reef.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The people in the group (all 15 of them), the city, the jungle and the beach! Bit vague but I just loved it all.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Don't expect 5 star, and be prepared to accept other people as they are - warts'n'all.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

I felt that I was putting my holiday money into small business rather than multinationals, which I prefer.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

5 star experience! But I missed my kids and would probably take them with me next time as the tour operator and the guide made me feel confident and secure.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Visiting the rainforests and seeing all the wildlife which was fantastic. In particular seeing the giant sea turtles laying their eggs at Tortuguero

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Not to take travellers cheques - no one wants to cash them and if they do they put heavy charges for doing so. Debit cards are probably the best. The banking system is a complete nightmare - the local use it like a social networking opportunity - you can easily stand in line for an hour. Also be prepared for the roads - they are in a really poor state - our minivan broke an axle one day

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes, the operator seemed genuinely committed to both causes. We used local rather than chain hotels which were charming and well presented, as well as being good value

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

A fantastic experience with lots of variety. The locals are very friendly and enthusiastic about their country.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Probably the visits to the Maya ruins in Guatemala - and, more in general, the meeting our interesting co-travellers!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Difficult to add anything to the great tips the operator had given us on forehand already. Maybe: don't hesitate to take plenty of USD cash with you from home as opposed to having to run to the local banks all the time.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes, though even more efforts could be done to that extent.

4. Any other comments?

Great choice of holidays, a bit of everything, not too active but even for physical activity-junkies like ourselves still very enjoyable. Thank you for your outstanding services.
