1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Argentina is a beautiful country and the people are amazing so it's really hard not to have a fantastic time. I think the highlights for us were the wine tasting in Mendoza and also the Estancia on the last day which was truly out of this world. I felt as if I had walked into a magazine photo shoot being there! We were the only guests that day and were treated like royalty.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Just relax and enjoy yourselves. Everything was really well organised by the operator so the only thing for us to do was have a fantastic honeymoon!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I don't feel that Argentina is as environmentally aware as some countries so things like recycling and using renewable energy etc are not possible for some areas. However, all of the hotels we stayed at employed local people and used local produce and so from that point of view it was good to feel that our tourism was supporting the local community.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fantastic!! The only way it could have been better is if we didn't have to come home!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The best thing was the mix: Mendoza, Buenos Aires, José Ignacio. Perfect mix between seeing and experiencing new things and just relaxing. The wine spa treatment in Mendoza, the hotel Legado Mitico in Buenos Aires as well as the relaxingly not-crowded beach near Posada del Faro in José Ignacio all immediately come to mind.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Both Cavas Wine Lodge in Mendoza and the village José Igancio are a bit out of the way so excellent for a few days and if what you want is relaxation (as we did). However, if you are looking for new restaurant experiences, lots of action, etc., these may not be where you want to stay for too long. Great to mix with also experiencing a big city like Buenos Aires.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Small hotels with fairly large numbers of what presumably were local staff was positive. However, the environmental matters may not be a priority everywhere - towels were changed rather too often (especially in Posada del Faro) and it generally was not clear what if any environmental policies the different hotels had.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Wonderful! A small negative note was a certain mix-up and changes (for the worse) with the last leg of the travel. Also, the room in Posada del Faro (Jose Ignacio) was smelling mouldy and damp when we arrived, a smell that did not go away totally for five days and which appears to be a construction problem. (It was not a big problem as we spent more time on the lovely terrace, but not really what one expects at a hotel of that standard).

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It was all memorable! We were recommended some fantastic places to stay, and there were highlights everywhere, but I think we were blown away by the Iguazu Falls which were just amazing! Also spending my birthday on a schooner, with bubbly and cake provided by the operator, was a lovely surprise, and I felt very spoilt!
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
The operator really came up with some wonderful ideas. They knew the best areas to stay in, the best accommodation, including a 4 bedroom boutique hotel in Buenos Aires, and came up with original ideas for making our trip very special. The guides were all excellent, and all the pick ups and transfers worked perfectly. I can't recommend them enough.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
Yes, particularly at our last stop at Pousada Picinguaba near Paraty, where all the staff were local, we had solar heated water, fish were locally caught, coffee from their local farm etc. Very environmentally friendly!
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fantastic, the only downside was that it went far too quickly!
