1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

I enjoyed the day in Cairo. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Visiting the Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids with the camel ride was unforgettable. Snorkelling in the diving in the Red Sea is magical!!!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you are doing the PADI Open Water course it is advisable you read your book in advance it will definitely help you. Also give it some extra days (hence I got ill I could not complete the course but qualified as a Scuba Diver). Also once in Dahab there are lots of day trips/excursions that you may fancy going on so allow some extra days!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Yes I did. I used the local shops all money spent went to the local people and towards their business.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I loved my holiday. The best I have been on. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very organised and I never missed a connection!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The highlight of our trip was Dahab. I can't imagine a more chilled location than the Bedouin style bars overlooking the red sea. The diving was spectacular. Neither I nor my 16 year old son had dived before and we found the lessons clear, fun and reassuring. He's desperate to take his mates there.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

We wanted to see the pyramids, so we had no choice but to go via Cairo. But if you don't want to see them, arrange a trip that takes you straight to Dahab because Cairo is an assault on the senses - hot, dirty and smelly.
Do go up My Sinai if you can. It's only a sort trip from Dahab and the Oasis people, who are very helpful, will organise it.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

There was nothing about the trip that struck me as environmentally irresponsible, and I'm sure people that rely on the tourist trade benefited from my presence.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was excellent - Friendly and helpful support, great location and experiences, and good value. I won't forget it, and will be going again.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Diving the blue hole and canyon sites that were only 5 minutes drive from the base.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Many local people were employed by diving operator, and at the havanah hotel in Cairo.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

This holiday is perfect for someone who wants to dive as well as getting time to take in the pyramids and other attractions around Cairo.
