Caroline Wigart review 25 Feb 2013
Caroline from the tour company worked really hard to accommodate all of our wishes for a tight schedule. We particularly enjoyed the visit to Woodleigh Cattle Station, and with Maggie as our personal guide for three days around the Tablelands, the whole experience was hugely enriched by her knowledge of the flora and fauna and much more.
Rose Gum Wilderness Retreat and Thala Beach Lodges were lovely places to stay at as a small family, and spear fishing with an aboriginal guide was a hit with our 9-year old son. Our overnight stay on a dive boat was great, but we missed not having our guide there as her knowledge of the marine life was not matched by the boat staff. However, they made you feel safe snorkelling/diving in the middle of the ocean. We had a super time!
Phil Harnett review 13 Oct 2009
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
So many highlights it is difficult to seperate out just one.... it was a great trip all around !
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
None really, it was so well organised that everything just fell in to place.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
We used local services whenever possible .... some of the hotels had large corner baths which seemed a bit over the top when a simple shower would surfice ... but hey you don't need to use them !
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
10 out of 10
