Read the operator's response here:
On many trips, there is the opportunity for optional excursions which a client can undertake. While we suggest many activities travellers may like to try, there are also plenty that are not promoted, supported or endorsed by us. On this trip, particularly in the Victoria Falls area clients may notice businesses offering optional 'Walk with the Lions' or other big cat experiences. As a company, we recommend that our travellers bypass these activities as it is contrary to our Responsible Travel guideline stating that we 'actively discourage the participation of groups in activities which exploit animals - wild or domestic.' Professional wildlife conservation organisations, including Born Free and the World Society for Protection of Animals (WSPA), advise that habituating big cats to humans can shorten their life and may result in animal-human conflict issues. While there is some merit in the argument that the money that you pay for the activity goes towards big cat research, we feel that the negative impacts on the animals' rehabilitation far outweigh this.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The Chobe NP river cruise and the adrenaline activities in Vic Falls.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared to travel long distance & basic accommodation.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?
More interaction with locals would be good as the only interaction is why they were the guides for our activities. If we could visit local villages and explain more on the local culture would make the tour much more interesting.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
75 out of 100.
